Is it hard to change baby over?

Just wondering how to do the switch from breastmilk to whole milk when my baby turns 1. Also, she loves to eat off our plates. She loves mashed potatos with butter and milk. I tried giving her plain mashed with a little salt but she wasn't havin it. Should I wait til she is 1 to give her (good) mashed potatos? Is it hard to change baby over?
don't switch - just add it in. give her cow's milk with her meals, breast milk for regular nursing (ie, first thing in the morning and so on).

do NOT give her added salt - sodium is very very dangerous for babies and their total daily intake (from all sources) is a maximum of 750mg (which ain't a lot: two sardines in a tin, titus brand, is 480!). seriously, babies have died from excess salt in their diets.

at her age, she can eat what you guys are having (minus ketchup, salt, pickles, and so on - seasoning such as onion, garlic, pepper, curry, etc, is fine). my daughter was eating roti with curry goat at her age.Is it hard to change baby over?
Give her a little at a timeIs it hard to change baby over?
Myabe try a smideg of cheese to the plain mash?

When doing the swtich, do it slowly, as she may not like it, may react etc etc I started by introducing her whole milk into her cereal, then mash, etc.Is it hard to change baby over?
I've seen moms who feed table food by 8 months and i've seen 10 months still on Gerber stage 3 food. If you think your baby is ready you can start giving him little bit of table food. It be better if she stayed away from too much salt and spices until she is little older. good luck =)Is it hard to change baby over?
