How long do you take to change your baby's wet diaper?

Well, when my 10 1/2 month old poops her diaper, I change it right away.

However, sometimes when she pees her diaper, I take about maybe 30 minutes longer to change it. Do you think it's bad? Sometimes I change it right away, and sometimes I take longer.

Especially at nights, when it's about 3 am and she's wet, I feel so lazy to change it, so i wait until 7 am to change it. Do you think I'm a bad mother??? She doesn't have blisters or rashes or anything, and I put ointment on her... Be sincere, do you change the wet diaper right away?How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
next time you go pee dont wipe yourself for 30 mins after and see how you like it.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
seriously, you purposely wait 30 min? I can understand 30 min if you didn't know but come on that's your kids bottom we're talking about. She may not have rashes now, but she will.

I know diapers are expensive and it's tiring to keep doing it, but you really need to.

I am not sure how long mine have stayed in a wet diaper, I can tell by the feel and look of it when they need changing. I don't purposely let them sit in it though.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
A good mother would see a doctor rather than consulting the internet.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
at night I wait, doctor told me that if shes esleep leave her alone. As long as its not soil or she has a rash its okay. Awake I do it right away.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
You don't need to put ointment on her every time you change her. Only put ont he cream when she has a BM and see if she starts to rash. if she starts to rash change her pee diapers more.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
30 minutes for one pee isn't that bad. Diapers are made to hold more than one pee so it's fine. Poop is another thing all together.

I want to change my baby's name?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old mother of 4; Daisey (3) Ryder(2) hope (1) and Max. (sorry i put hunter instead of ryder) I like the name ryder, but i may like hunter better? I also maybe want to change Hope's name fo sure???? I regret that day. I maybe want to change her name to violet or rainbow. Daisey and max are great. Well how can i change their names??? (im sorry im new at this and have no one to help me really)

which names do u like better?

Hunter

or

Ryder?

Hope

or

Violet

or Rainbow

for some reason i want to rename hope rainbow. Im actually not sure about ryder. I don't know how to do it? Can someone tell me how or just tell me which names u like btter?: Thanx!

and answer my other questions too!I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
i like hunter better than ryder but he might get a bit confused. ask him. but please, please, please, don't change your daughter's name to rainbow, it's just stupid. and then think of a 40 year old woman named rainbow, please don't do it.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Ryder way better than Hunter. And I like Hope a lot better than Violet or Rainbow!!! Keep their names the way they are. They are old enough to know their names already.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Hunter.

I like Hope. I would just stick with those names. Violet and Rainbow are too.....colorish..XDI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Hunter better.

I like Hope or Violet...definately not Rainbow!I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
never mind name changes how about bcI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I think either Hunter or Ryder is great! And Hope and Violet are both good too...but not Rainbow... Don't name your daughter Rainbow :(I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Oh dear, leave poor Hope's name alone unless you're going to replace it with something decent! I would hate my mother forever if she'd called me Rainbow.

Hunter, definitely. Ryder will properly be mocked a lot in school...I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
hunter is a Great name so i would stick with that and hope is to beautiful to by pass so i would stick with that..you made the right decisions the first time for your kids name so dont change them now :-DI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
The names you have chosen are perfect :) The children were born with there names and they have learned them already. You shouldn't change your kids names but leave them they way they are, because the name of the person can make them who they are.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
well if i were you i would just leave ryder since he is already 2 he is already used to his name and it would be hard to change.

but as for Hope do not do rainbow but Violet is gorgeus and since she is only it would be okayI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Are you serious? I strongly advise you NOT to change your daughters name to RAINBOW ugh. What an ugly first name.Maybe just give it to her as a nickname. She can be your little %26quot;rainbow%26quot; like some kids are their parents %26quot;sunshine%26quot;. but do not legally change her name to rainbow,she'll hate u for it. Ryder is a great name ,leave it be.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I love the name Hunter, much better than Ryder. Hope is also much better than Violet or RainbowI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
WHY DO YOU HAVE 4 KIDS AT THE AGE OF 19?!

Sorry I had to get that out...

I personally like the name Ryder, changing his name now will only confuse him. The name Hope is way better then Rainbow, and better then Violet. What about Holly? It seems like u want her to have a nature name so what about... Angel, Autumn, Harmony, Honey, Kharma, Meadow, Melody, Passion, Serenity, or Skye?I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
i like ryder better. i'd either go with hope or violet. rainbow is too hippyish.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I think their names are pretty and they all go great together. I would not change them for the simple fact that I think it will cost you money in order for you to change them through the court system. Not only that you will probably have problems with their social security number. It is your choice and if you want to do it then go right ahead. I think that Violet is cute

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I really like the name Hunter, but since your son Ryder is 2, he probably already knows his name, so I would leave it since there really is nothing awful about his name. If you'd prefer, why don't you begin calling him Skip or Chip or Bud? As for baby Hope, her name is lovely. Violet, too is nice, But please do not call her Rainbow. Not a good name. To change the name of a baby, I believe you'd need to talk to a lawyer or ask the people at your Town or City Hall.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
once you have named your child you cant go ahead and change it. changing there name is up to them when they get older. you cant start calling her hope and then say %26quot; honey, your new name is Alexis, its not Hope anymore%26quot;
and Rainbow??????I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Ryder
and HopeI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Hunter better than Ryder and Hope better than Rainbow, but it's a bit late to be changing their names. They already respond to what they are.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Hiya,
Don't worry about the legal stuff at this stage because Ryder and Hope are good names
My friend just had a baby and had her name registered as Ava Mai but changed her mind straight away so legally she's called Ava but my friend always calls her Suki (Suki-Mai)
Hunter is a cool nickname for your son which means you could gradually introduce it so as not to confuse him
As for your daughter, I think Hope is the best name but if you are determined to change it I would go with Rainbow, because while I think Violet is the better name, Rainbow is a better nickname if you see what I mean
Where do you change a baby's diaper on an airplane?
When I had to change my then 3 month old (who was as big as a 6 month old) on the airplane, I was baffled as to where he could be changed. The bathrooms are so tiny. I resorted to using the top of the toilet lid. His head was tilted down on one side of the toilet lid and his legs were hanging off the other end of the toilet lid but I managed to make it work. If he were any bigger then the toilet lid would have been too small. I changed my then 2 year old standing up but thankfully he only had a wet diaper. If he had a poopy diaper I would have been at a loss. He would have been too long to even lay on my lap.
How/Where do you change diapers on an airplane?Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
Use the handicapped lavs instead. They are much roomier and yes, I was able to change my toddlers standing up, the scary diapers and was even able to do it with my girls. My cousin who also live abroad and flies a lot taught me. She has twins plus a littler one so she had tons of tips.
Putting down the lid of the toilet never worked for me either.
Practice at home first and you may need to take off the bottom clothing. Sit on your feet and have him face away from you. When you practice at home, put a towel over you and one on the floor.
(Stop here anyone who doesn't have kids and are therefore more easily grossed out!)
From the front and the back, pinch in and try to catch as much inside the diaper as possible. Have a bag handy to quickly discard. Clean up with wipes from the outside as much as possible. Then tip the toddler backwards into your lap and have him stick his legs up. You can then do a big wipe up and promise, if you managed the %26quot;pinch%26quot; technique, you wont have that much left.
Yes, this will take a tad longer but having to stuff a big toddler on to one of the miniscule changing tables and plain old having to make a toddler lie down in a strange place take up time too. This almost eliminates the struggling. With their feet planted, they tend to be more cooperative.
There are always handicapped lavs on aircraft (required if it's a U.S. company). It's also good for airports and shopping malls where you can easily find larger stalls but not necessarily big enough changing tables.
If the floor of the lav is kind of gross, just cover it with those paper towels. Keep you knees clean.
For more information on flying with children, I wrote a totally non-commercial article about 8 years ago. I put it on a blog to share with other parents, who over the years have also contributed. I'm in the middle of re-editing it so you may want to check back if you're not flying in the next few days.
Feel free to visit; http://flyingwithchildren.blogspot.com
I thank you from the bottom of my childfree heart for NOT changing your children in your row of seats!
I think you did the right thing by changing your child how you did. Maybe next time though, get the flight attendants attention and tell them what you are about to do. Ask if they have a change mat to cushion your child's head and ask if it's okay to leave the door open in the toilet as there is insufficient room.
    I would have asked the flight attendants what they recommend or I would have just changed my baby/child right there on the seat and then quickly went and tossed the diaper so it didn't stink up the whole airplane. That's a really good question though.Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
    I use to always wonder the same thing when my kids were little. I once was told to change the baby before I got onto the airplane...idiot. You don't control when a baby goes to the bathroom.
    But anyway, there was always 3+ of us traveling, so I'd just ask my husband to move (as well as my kids if it was the younger one) and lay the baby across the two seats in the row.Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
    thats a good question, i think most of the planes in UK have baby changers in them as far as i know otherwise poor baby
    Ask to use one of the jump seats (a fold-down seat where the flight attendants sit for take off and landing). They are usually 2-seaters and long enough for the child to fit. Use the ones in the rear of the cabin for more privacy. Be prepared to wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe when you're done.
    Would it be crazy to change my baby's first name at 15 months?
    Help! I am sick about this. I named my baby girl Jenna and she is absolutely wonderful. But..her name never felt right to me, I never had the %26quot;right name%26quot; and just had to pick one after she went unnamed for 3 days!
    I have been sick since. It is a cute name, but doesn't feel good for her. I often cringe when I hear it on her. I am and have been trying to get over it but i cry every day. I spend so much time obsessing about it....
    Not that it matters, but I did not know of Jenna Jameson. Nor did I hear the associations-Jenna-talia, Jenna-cide, Hy-Jenna.
    I have considered changing it since she was 2 months old!
    The problem was that I still did not know the perfect name. I had %26quot;the right%26quot; name in my mind but it changed many times over the last year. I am full of indecision and anxiety. I keep second guessing. I can't live like this!
    At 40 I should be able to handle this. Maybe I need a good psychiatrist? lol.
    Here is a big problem. Would it be fair to her 3.5 year old brother Jacob? I have mentioned calling her different names and we play name games. I don't want to screw him up. Can it be explained so that he is ok with it and it fades over time?
    I do not like the nickname Jen. Or Jenny. Dont know what I was thinking.
    The name of choice has changed (in my mind) often too. Rachel, Alanna, and now I think the name Samantha would be perfect. Love the nn's. It is similar to mine ( I have a husband, stepdaughter and son with a J name as well. So eveyone is a J but me, my name begins with an S).
    Please advise!! Thank you so much. I just dont know what to do.
    If the answer is get over it, pls. give me on ideas how!!Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You shouldn't change her name. Not only will it confuse her brother, but it will confuse her too. Jenna is a nice name, I actually considered it for a name for my child (if he had been a girl). Leave it..you are going to drive yourself and probably everyone around you nuts.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I'm sorry if I come off rude but Yes. 15 months is late to be changing her name. Jenna is a lovely name. Who cares if there are bad nicknames or associations out there? Its a nice name. You like the name you just dont like there are bad associations with her name out there. Plus, its a huuuuge hassel to change her name.
    You WILL also confuse her 3.5 year old brother.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I wouldn't change it...she knows her name is Jenna.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    If you're truly unhappy with it then NOW is the time to change it, before she gets any older. She's just a baby now, she's not at school and doesn't have a bunch of friends yet, so it would be easy. If she was older, then it would be complicated, but at 15 months, fine.
    Good luck.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    i think if you feel this strongly NOW is the time to do it. i cant believe you had never heard of Jenna Jameson? i loved Jenna but yeah she sure puts you off it lol, i think Samantha is lovely and your son wont even remember you did change her name when he's older lol kids at this age don't retain that much, think of how much you can remember from 3years old? just change it and slowly correct him if he goes back to Jenna, make a game of it like you said. he wont get screwed up lol. you have to love your child's name and i think if you have been obsessing this long then just do it, she's still young enough, but any older might be cruel to her so do it now.
    good luck and make sure you LOVE this name before you do change it.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You sound obsessed about it. I am wondering if it is making you sick then maybe you need to see someone.
    Change the name by deed poll or nick name her something you do like. But i have a feeling nothing is going to be good enough...do you agree?Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I wouldn't change her name, and I think you are a little too worried and obsessed about it, and it's too late now. She knows her name already.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    Do not change her name...at 15 months, it will confuse her as well as her brother. Lots of people choose names and then think better of it. That is normal in the beginning. At some point, you start to see someone as a person, not as their name. It is odd that this is such a big issue for you. I would seriously consider talking to someone, it doesn't seem that your daughter's name is the true issue here, but rather your focus on it a symptom of some issue you yourself are going through.
    EDIT: In looking at the questions you have asked, I'd say you definitely need to talk to someone. EVERY question you have asked is about your daughter's name. Her name doesn't seem to be the issue.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    if u change the name, will u be satisfied? change the name NOW while they're still young, but the question is, ARE YOU REALLY WILLING TO GET THROUGH IT AFTER U CHANGE THE NAME? remember, the identity of your child is at risk here.. you said u are trying to find the perfect name.. how about trying to help her find her true identity as she gets older? don't u think she will appreciate it more in the long run?Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You should not need to worry. I know tons of people who are named Jenna. It's a great name I don't see why you should change it, I think it would just confuse all of you and make it stressful for everyone if you did change the name. If you don' t like it call her by her middle name or something, tons of people do that. Trust me when most people think of the name Jenna they don't think of Jenna Jamison I know I don't
    How to change a baby who doesn't like to be changed?
    I have a 13 month old and it is almost impossible to change his diaper or his clothes. I have tried giving him a book or toy, singing to him, putting on a favorite TV program, and nothing works. He arches his back, and squirms to get away. When I try to turn him back over to get the diaper changed/clothes on, he starts crying. I have checked to make sure that I am not hurting him, and tried using a calm voice, but nothing works. I have been changing him on the floor (on a mat), and not on a changing table.     my little one goes through the same thing. it complete sucks! I have found that if I change her on the couch it is much easier. I give her the remote to play with. Also, I don't know why this works, but putting destin on her makes her happy.     Sometimes he lies down okay for a diaper change and other times he doesn't want to. You just have to be firm and keep him in place (it's for his own good you need to change diapers). I usually talk to my child when changing him or give him a toy to amuse himself with (I find distraction is a good tool to use at this age).
    I also have gotten quite good at putting clothes on him as he's moving. Or for other items of clothing I will hold him still but I've started at one end of his room putting his diaper shirt on and ended up in the hallway putting his socks and pants on him.     I agree with the one who said take charge. My daughter is the same age as your son, and also tries to wriggle away. Like the other one says, they can't wriggle away if you hold the feet!     I'm probably going to get comments about this, but a smack ( just one to get his attention) on the buttocks while the diaper is off, and a firm %26quot;NO%26quot; and a stern look will work, it did for my daughter.     Give him something colorful to look at or hold. If you can, put up a mirror or a small mobile above the changing table. Or, if you have a book that has mirrors in it have him hold that.....you just have to be quick about it as this is the age where they just want to go, go, GO!
    Dear Tiny,
    Yes you can legally change your baby's name. Is the father's name on the birth certificate? Go to the clerk's office at the Superior Court House in which the county you reside in and pick up the Name Change forms fill them out. You will also have to place an ad in the newspaper for 4 consecutive weeks, stating your intentions of this name change and what the name change will be. After showing proof and receipt of placing a 4 week Ad in the newspaper return all forms back to the County Clerk's office at the Courthouse and you will be given a Court Date. On your court date the judge will ask you why you want the name change?. He will ask maybe 2 or 3 questions. You will receive the Document stamped by the court giving his approval. And Name Change Granted.
    That's about it!. You do not need an Attorney for this. It's quite simple. . The day you appear before the judge and he grants the name change order is the day your baby will have his new name. Go to S.S. office also to have his name on theSocial Security card name changed as well.
    The price is relatively fair, The cost of the court forms the court fees and the cost of running an Ad in the newpaper. It comes to about $200-$300. Depending where you live. The newspaper Ad will probably cost the most money, but well worth your peace of mind.
    I hope I have been helpful. I live in Calif. So if you live elsewhere the rules may be a little different. The County Court Clerk's office can also assist you if you have any questions
    Good Luck
    See a lawyer. It should not take long at all and not cost much if it is not being contested. I think you just have to fill out a piece of paper and possibly put a small ad in a local newspaper informing people of the name change.
    Technically, you don't even have to do that much. Legally you just have to use the new name consistently. However, he may then have problems later on when he applies for a driver's license or a passport.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    You have to petition the courts to change his name. If there is a father he needs to agree in writing. You will need an attorney to file the necessary paperwork.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    If you must, do it before he's old enough to recognize his name. You should be able to do this at a county courthouse. Otherwise, it's a state matter. Not sure how long it takes to get the papers - depends on how busy they are.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    If there is a father registered on his birth certificate, you must have his permission as well to change the name of the child. If there is no father registered, or if he agrees, its just a case of filling in some forms (with a small fee) and changing the name by deed poll. Without the father's permission (if his name is on the birth certificate) it becomes a long and sometimes costly legal exercise.
    I know this because this occurred with one of of my family members.
