Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?

In my highschool, I've seen a couple of girls walking around with those fake baby dolls for a project. But I don't understand, can't they just take out the batteries or something? And how does the teacher know that the baby isn't just sitting in the %26quot;mom's%26quot; room while its supposed to be with her at all times? Also, how exactly do you feed and change the baby(like its diaper)?

Someone please explain this to me!Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
We rent and ship the Realcare aka Baby Think It Over babies all over the U.S. They are incredible! The babies have an internal computer which has built in sensors. The sensors are for acknowledging bottle feeding, diaper changes, burping, etc. Each of the items used for caring for the baby has a magnetic chip to communicate with the internal sensor. When the baby cries, the participant must figure out what care the baby needs and perform the task. When the baby is returned, we have a hand-held programmer that when place against the baby, it reads back how the baby was cared for. Please visit our website posted below for more info on these awesome little tike's.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
In my high school we just had regular baby dolls and had to keep a journal about it. I'm not sure how the battery operated ones work....I believe when you lie them down they cry.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
No they can't take out the batteries. Nor can you throw it down and expect it to shut up. My teacher told us, it's a microphone and a hidden camera in them [hopefully they were lying.] You need a special type of key to be able to take the batteries out.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
they have recorders in them. at least at our school. but i don't see how the teacher listens to 2 weeks worth of crying and swearing...Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
It's a Live Baby

so it makes the diaper wet, and records how long it cries, theres a hole in its mouth you put food in.

It has senors in its back for when you burp it, and yeah.

It's high tech stuff lolDoes anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
You can't use take out the batteries. The teacher will know. It has a mini-computer inside of the body. There are sensors on the diaper and on the baby's back that will tell if you change the diaper or not. And the bottle has a sensor too.

And the girl who is suppose to take it home, will most likley have a bracelet. Before they change the diaper/feed/burp the baby they have to put the bracelet to the baby so it will recongize the mother.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
they have a recorder in them so the teacher knows what uve been doing.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
What the people are telling you is crap. You can't take the batteries out because the batteries are actually inside the baby and you would have to take the baby apart. And they babies don't have a recorder in them it does record things like how long it cries till u take care of it etc. And how they know its taken care of is the %26quot;parent%26quot; wears a plastic bracelet with a sensor in it when baby starts to cry and you take care of it you wave the sensor and it will stop crying then you feed change or rock it and the diaper and feeding when they baby starts crying you use a bottle that has a sensor in the tip when it touches its lips it knows the bottle is there and for the diaper the baby comes with 2 cloth diapers with sensors in it when you take one diaper off and put the other one on its knows you changed sensors.Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
Im in 9th grade and have to get one this winter ! :(

I dont know how it works either but i really dont want to.

They cry like every 10mins someone said and you have to carry it around school all day - people are like WTF?Does anyone know how those fake baby dolls they use in parenting classes work?
well i'm not sure how your school works but at my school they give you this bracelet with a sensor on it so that the baby recognizes you as the mother, this bracelet cannot be taken off unless it is cut off and if you take it off then you can't put it back on and you automatically fail. The baby's bottle and diaper have a sensor in it so it will react to whatever it is it needs. The baby can't have it's batteries taken out because it's a rechargable thing and if you take the rechargable battery out then it registers on the computer that you did that and you again automatically fail. If the baby cries you must rub your wrist with the bracelet on over the baby so it recognizes that your the mother and then you have to find out what it needs. If you don't then it registers as neglect and you get deducted marks for everytime you don't take care of the baby. Also when you or anyone else picks up the baby, you have to support the head or it registers to the computer as misshandled. If your burping the baby and you hit her/his back too hard it comes up as rough handling. In which cases you would again get deducted marks. I'm taking a parenting class this semester and was taught how to care for the baby. These are 900 dollar dolls so if you break them you must pay to replace them.

here's an example...does it look like this?

I took the prep for parenting class last year and those babies are a pain! They record the decibel level to make sure you didn't yell at it, Temperature, how long it cried be for you figured out what was wrong with it, how many times you let its head fall back ETC. Then the teacher plugs it into the computer, collects the data and grades you. Also you have a bracelet to scan on the back of its neck to let it recognize you and so u cant cheat and make someone else watch it for you, I'm not lucky because when I got home (on a Friday night of course) with my baby it wouldn't shut up because I had the wrong bracelet and was programed not to accept bottle, change etc without a bracelet scan first. It comes with two diapers with different chips in each one that a sensor on the baby recognizes so it knows when its been %26quot;changed%26quot; and the bottles the same way, it also came with a round button to put on your shirt to %26quot;breastfeed%26quot; lol.
