when you go to vital records to apply for the birth certificate just tell them what happened it should be easy to correct you just have to wait a few extra weeks for them to change it.Does any one know how to change a baby name read plz?

Depends on how old your baby is. If you just had her, then there's the possibilty that the paperwork hasn't been submitted to the records as of yet and you can talk to the people that are taking care of your paperwork. On the other hand, if she is older and you've been through all of that already, then I'm pretty sure the only way you can change the spelling is to apply to the courts for a legal name change. I'd go talk to one of those free lawyers and see if they can give you any other advice.
