How do i change a baby diaper?

its sad because i have a baby nephew and hes 1 years old and i dont kno how to change his diaper i tried but ut was all wrong my sister not going to teach me because shes mean and my mom we allways argue so yeah i rather ask how??? please help a gurl outHow do i change a baby diaper?
How old are you? I don't see why your sister or mom would teach you if they're leaving you in charge of the baby and you'll need to change him? Seems odd (?)! Anyways, 1 year olds are very active and many of them will try to roll away so you have to have everything you need (wipes, clean diaper, cream etc...) ready to go first, be prepared to do it very fast. It also helps if you give him something to distract him like a book or small toy he can hold while you're working!

Lay the baby on changing table or floor

Remove his pants or unsnap the crotch area of his outfit

Open the clean diaper with the side that has the tabs under his back at his waistline. (Use the diaper he has on to see how it should look when you're done).

Unsnap the soiled diaper and gently lift his bottom up by holding his ankles with one hand; if he's poopy you can use the dry part of the old diaper to wipe up some of the mess from his bottom. If he's wet, you're in luck! Slide the dirty diaper out from underneath him and use it to hold all the dirty wipes, when you're done you can just roll it up and snap the tabs around it to throw it away.

Take several baby wipes and thoroughly clean the entire diaper area, if his bottom is red at all use a Desitin cream to keep him from getting a rash.

Make sure his penis is pointing down before closing up the diaper or he may soak his clothes next time he pees. Pull the front of the diaper up over the front of him, open the snaps and stick them to the front of the diaper.

Put back on his clothes.

You're done! Practice makes perfect and it may take a few tries to get the hang of it but you'll figure it out! Good luck. How do i change a baby diaper?
lay the baby down. make sure you have the diaper and all. take the old diaper off, wipe the baby's bottom with the wipes. put the new diaper under the baby's bottom and secure it with those tab things. ** make sure you don't stand directly in front of your nephew cuz he might just decide to tinkle on you if your not careful. How do i change a baby diaper?
Changing a diaper is actually quite simple. first, remove the dirty diaper and use wipes to clean the baby up. Then unfold the clean diaper, and put the side with the tape or velcro under his butt. Then put the front of the diaper between his legs up to his belly button. Holding that in place with one hand, use your other hand to grap the tape on the left side and secure it on the front of the diaper, then do the same with the right side. Make sure it's nice and snug so it doesn't fall off his little tushie! How do i change a baby diaper?
If you are using cloth diapers I can't help...too complicated to explain on the internet.

For disposable diapers....undo the dirty diaper, pull the front down between his legs and fold it over the bottom. With your non-dominant hand (if you are right handed use your left) grab his ankles (put a finger between the ankles) and pick up his bottom half and pull out the dirty diaper. While in that position use a wipey and wipe front to back to get all the %26quot;dirt%26quot; off. Make sure to clean everything good....but you don't have to rub...just wipe. Now you can put his legs back down and grab a new diaper...be quick, he may try to roll away and run away NAKED!!! They love to do this!!! Open the diaper and put the back (the side with the tape) under his bottom (grab his ankles again and lift up his bottom), put him down and pull the front over the front of him. Undo the tapes and attach. You don't want to make it too tight but it should be snug.

Hope this helped. Good luck. How do i change a baby diaper?
Before changing have all necessary supplies (diaper, warm wipes, and whatever else you usually use). Lie the baby on the changing table or changing mat. Undo clothing or onesie. Release diaper clasps from the side. Take the top of the diaper and wipe some excess stuff from baby, especially if they pooped. Remove the used diaper. Take the warm wipe and wipe around bottom, top, sides, creases of the baby's bottom. Place the new, fresh diaper on the baby and close clasps. Redress the baby - you're done! How do i change a baby diaper?
Maybe they don't want you to change it because he is a boy and I am assuming your a girl. Some people are that way.

First of all, you've got to be organized. Make sure you have everything you need right there. A diaper, opened and ready to slip on, powder, wipes, rash cream etc.

Next, you've got to be fast because the baby isn't going to be still for long. Be warned little boys are really good about peeing on you too. The cold air or cold wipe, makes them pee.

Wipe him good, but fast. Sprinkle a little powder or whatever your sister uses. Slip the back of the diaper, the part with the sticky tabs, under his butt and pull the other side up in the front. Make sure his penis is pointing down into the diaper or he will pee up and out of the diaper. Fasten it snug on each side but not so tight that it cuts into his legs.

There it is. Practice makes perfect. The more you do the better and faster you will get.

make sure he's completly clean then lay him down then line the back of the diaper with his back dimples and pull the straps and make sure it's not to tight. you should be able to fit 2 female fingers between the diaper and his bellyHow do i change a baby diaper?
