Did your baby change drastically around 7-8 months?

My 7 1/2 month old son has always had a pretty steady routine -- predictable eating and napping times -- but in the past week he has gone completely haywire. He doesn't want to eat solids (which he usually loves), wants to nurse every 1-2 hours, and is rubbing his eyes and yawning within 1 hour of waking from a nap! I can't figure out what he is going to want from one moment to the next. He seems to be going through a phase of rapid development lately -- could this be why? Is this a normal thing at this age? How do I get him back on a routine of some kind??Did your baby change drastically around 7-8 months?
Probably just a growth spurt. My daughter always sleeps more and eats more when she's growing. And she gets CRANKY! He's around the right age for a growth spurt. Next week, half his clothes might not fit if he's anything like my girl! LOL.Did your baby change drastically around 7-8 months?
Something very similar happened with my daughter, around 9 months though. We had dropped a couple of nursings, but then she suddenly REALLY wanted them again, and her sleep went all over the place. This was also a time of major development for her, too- she got far more mobile, better with grasping, seems to understand more words, etc- a LOT of change in only a couple of weeks. We are just now getting out of it at 10 months- I feel she has some more time to go before I feel like we put that phase behind us. So I don't know if it is %26quot;normal%26quot; but at least one other baby has done this!Did your baby change drastically around 7-8 months?
Yes, very normal. I bet you he's teething. My daughter did the same thing. Had a great routine, sleeping nights etc...



Then the dreaded teeth started coming in... and i had to say goodbye to restful nights!



Invest in some teething rings or frozen yogurt tubes. Both of mine loved them and they were super happy when i gave them one.

mine has i'l tell u that! he wuz such a social, happy friendly baby %26amp; used to love meeting new ppl but since he turned 8 months he's all of a sudden become TERRIBLY clingy %26amp; very very cranky! he has a good schedule though thankfully! i found this site really helpful to figure out a schedule for him %26amp; u cud give it a try too www.picknicksbrain.com

Ryan is 7 months and he has recently started waking a few times through the night. I am not sure if its a growthspurt so he is hungry, or maybe teething. Could be both!
