I have changed my baby to SMA white, he has 5 bottles a day and 3 of which are white and 2 are gold at the moment because i am weaning on it slowly (HV advice) due to always being hungry. He has been on the new milk for a week and he is now a little bit consapated, which i was expecting but i was wondering how long it lasts and what i can give him to help things along. He is 10 weeks old. Apart from not being able to go to the loo very well (sometimes he is fine) he is doing really well on the new milkChanged baby%26039;s milk and now consapated how long does it last?
my daughter took a few days to get used to new milk. i gave her gripe water.(non alcoholic) i know its meant for wind, but it really helped. Also if he is old enough, mash some fruit, bananas and sultanas together, and that usually clears my daughter out too.

If he is in pain, you can try gently rubbing his tummy area with two fingers. This will help soften things and hopefully start things moving. If he does not have a poo for 24 hrs, take him to see the doctor or health visitor.Changed baby%26039;s milk and now consapated how long does it last?

This will last for a few days not more than a week though. My nephew went through the same thing.. He was eating all the time and not seeming to get full enough off of 8 oz bottles. So the doctor told us to use Karo light syrup in the pink bottle that you can get at walmart on most cereal isles and put about a tablespoon in a bottle and shake it up and it worked wonders.. baby was not constipated anymore!!
