Changing baby's milk....?

My 6 month old DD was on Aptimil first Milk but today whilst out shopping i found they do a follow on milk from 6 months onwards to compliment weening, so i thought id give it ago.

so do you think it will upset her tummy for the first few days? how did your baby get on if you changed milk but kept the same brand.

My baby seems more interested in solids but obviously she must continue with formula so this is why i'm changing.

Hey we used aptamil milk and switched from blue to green no problems, Rylie didnt notice the difference at all, xxChanging baby%26039;s milk....?
Try mixing them together at first... that is how we changed milk... .

The first few days do more than half of the old milk and just a bit of the new.. the 3rd and 4th days go about half and half 5 and 6th days do more than half of the new and less old.. and by the end of the week hopefully she will be fully on all the new milk..

That seems to be the easiest transition on baby - taste wise and for digestion..

we switched Reece from SMA white to the SMA progress one, he was fine, but then we switched from that to Cow %26amp; Gate. it upset his tum for a few days, but after that, not a problem!Changing baby%26039;s milk....?
There's no real reason to switch to follow on milk. Normal formula is fine for first year... but then, there's no big reason why you shouldn't as far as I know. Just not really necessary. We switched from normal Aptamil to Extra hungry... then back again! He had no problems at all. Personally, I'd only faff around mixing if she wouldn't take it due to taste.Changing baby%26039;s milk....?
I changed my daughters milk at 5 months from a totally different brand she was on soy and switched to regualr and she was fine. i did it with the docs advice of course! There is nothing wrong with changing a babies formula.Changing baby%26039;s milk....?
If I was you then I would just leave her be. If she is fine on the milk she is having already then leave her. They say leave them on the first stage ones as long as possible. So unless she needs to, don't bother switching.
