34 week checkup.. my fundal height hadnt changed? baby small?

I went to my midwife for my checkup and my fundal height was still at 30cms, the same as two weeks prior.. she sent me to have a growth scan and they said baby hasnt grown as much as he should have since my last scan (at 20 weeks) and that his tummy doesnt seem to be the right size.. his estimated weight was 2.3kg and from what i read in baby books and such im right on target for how many weeks I am.. alot of people tell me this is what they were told too and there baby came out fine and a good size.. have you ever been told this? did you get sent to see a specialist?

Im so scared.. i dont want to have to have my baby early.. Plz help, give me peace of mind.

it totally depends on how your baby is sitting .. youll notice through out the day your stomach might look bigger or smaller i was measureing 4 weeks a head at one point now im only 1 week but i know there are times in the day where i would probably measure small but they say im right on .

at your next check up if they think your measureing small they might send you for another ultrasound to check the actual size of the baby ( fundal height is very inaccurate) but you should find out about the size of the babys stomach they havent sent you for another ultra sound ?? at my 20 week they noticed one kidney was dialated slightly bigger then the other and today i had the ultra sound to find out if it was ok now and im 29wks34 week checkup.. my fundal height hadnt changed? baby small?
I found out late that I was pregnant and I had to see a perinatal specialist in order to give a more accurate due date and check the baby's percentile rating. He was smaller than expected for Estimated Gestational Age (EGA). I was told this could be becasue of a variety of things including not being sure when my LMP was, stress, etc. My fundal height has stayed the same for nearly five wks (since I was 34 wks). My Doc. put me on bedrest and ordered to avoid as much stress as possible (yeah right).

Have a talk with your Doc, ask if they are worried and let them know you'd like to visit a perinatal specialist. Request that they do a comprehensive ultrasound and...

Relax... no stress, talk to the baby.
