How much has your baby changed since turning a year old?

My son just turned one on Friday. I am now asking questions in the toddler section instead of the newborn/baby. Anyhow he is finally taking different sippy cups. He is also starting to understand he has to eat real foods and milk is a drink not the main mealHow much has your baby changed since turning a year old?
Since my son turned one....he now strictly uses sippy cups, he's mastered the use of a spoon and still working on a fork. He has gone to just one nap a day after lunch between 1-3, he attends playgroups at the parks, gymboree, more socialized with children. He is not just walking but running and climbing! He's a few words and signs he can say. He understands everything and even follows directions like %26quot;put it away%26quot;. He is 20 months now! So in the last 8 months these are some of the new things he has done! So much fun and so much to look forward too!How much has your baby changed since turning a year old?

Well my daughter is only 16 months..but since she turned one..she now only takes a sippy, falls asleep on her own, can identify two parts of her body (head, and belly) says over 10 words..understands simple instructions (bring to mommy, give to daddy, follow us) likes to take her clothes off...but also tries to put them on, eats more table foods..



hmmm...there are lots of more little things..but its hard to remember them all!
