How do you carefully change a baby boy's diaper?

Are there any ways to help prevent being sprayed? Any tricks of the trade that might help? How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
Put the fresh diaper under the dirty one, open ready to put on him. Undo the dirty diaper and place a wipe over his penis. If it is a poopy diaper, well do the normal cleaning job...then quickly roll and remove the dirty diaper, and fasten up the new diaper.

After a few tries you'll get the hang of it without problems. However, no matter how careful you are...once they start moving around more sometimes you can't avoid it! lolHow do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
Be fast, keep the penis pointed down (you want to do this anyways or he will pee up and over the top of the diaper wetting his clothes) and if he regularly sprays you then put a wipe over him while you are changing him.

No need to waste money on those cones they make to put over them.

Good luck! How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
They have these little cup things for the penis.

They are like little cones made of fabric. They are called something like.. TeePee Pees, PeePee Tees... something like that!

You just stick it on the penis while your changing the diaper, if he urinates, the material cone collects all the pee and you just throw it in the wash to reuse later!

Otherwise, you could just try being really fast or throwing a wash cloth over the penis. How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
My son is 8 months old and I have never been sprayed, he won't urinate unless he is covered!

Each boy is different, not all of them urinate as soon as they are uncovered. If you're really worried, just place a washcloth over it- peepee tee pees don't stay on once the child get's wriggly! How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
For some reason my son stopped peeing after his nappy was removed after about six weeks, it's almost like he knows (I know that sounds crazy!), we still take precautions though, quick off with the dirty one %26amp; quickly tuck the new one in place, if there's a spray in between throw a cloth nappy or a wipe over. It's not so bad really, I noticed when I first had him that you can buy cups %26amp; things but I'm glad I didn't now as that would have been fiddly I think (IMO). Our son's almost 7months now %26amp; doesn't pee on us but ALWAYS does as soon as we put him into the bath! How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
I hear that leaving the front covered until you are ready with the new diaper and then changing it quickly helps.

I am about to find out for myself. =)How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
put a washcloth over it. they stop doing it when they're a little older ;)

eta: it's a pee-pee teepee! but a wipe or a washcloth will work just the same and I'd think those little teepees would be easy to lose. How do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
Be super quick..have the clean diaper under him before taking off the dirty one, take off the dirty one, quick wipe, and put on the clean one in a jiffyHow do you carefully change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
