How tall is too tall for a changing table or dresser you change a baby on top of?

Seems like most changing tables and 3 drawer dressers are anywhere from 35-41 inches tall, which seems like it would be too tall. (I'm 5'5%26quot;.) But what do you think?



By the way, rather than buying a changing table, I would rather use a dresser and put a changing pad on top of it; so I'm keeping in mind that this would could add another couple of inches on top of the dresser height. Then your baby sticks up a few inches on top of that as well.



But I've just noticed that changing tables - which are supposedly meant for changing babies on top of - also seem to be too tall.How tall is too tall for a changing table or dresser you change a baby on top of?
I'm 5'8 and I got a dresser and just put a changing pad on top, I think it's the right height. Some of the actual changing tables with drawers underneath are a little too tall by the time you put the pad on top. I need help on changing baby's last name?

i recently had a little girl 3 months ago..i have not filed for her social security number or anything yet..i gave her the fathers last name and now really doesn't want anything to do with her..would i beable to change her last name to mine and how do i do it and what is the cost. he does not pay me nothing for her or anything and i have not taken him to court yet to get anything legal..i just want her last name to be mine..please help me on thisI need help on changing baby%26039;s last name?
im dealing with the same thing except my daughter has her dads last name just his name didnt get on it cause he wasnt there to fill it out. so i called the state vital records[i live in wyoming] and they told me to order the birth certificate.which here is 13 dollars and they will send a correction paper and you will have to fill it out and explain why you want it back to your name and then they will send you the corrected copy for free. but my advice is monday morning before you do anything call your state vital records office. i just googled it. and put wyoming state vital records. and it pulled the number up.

If you want your daughter to have your last name then you have to go to the court house and have it changed on her birth certificate and then you will have to apply for a new SSN You can do that at the social security office it takes some time and it is a real hassle but it can be done. Just one more thing don't lie to your daughter when she gets older about her father. She will grow up and want to know who he was and were he is. u may not see the point now but that is not your right to take that away from her she is not your possession. being her dad is the best gift and she will no that. u can use your surname for hers on most things without changing it. wait til shes older and let it be her decision.
