Having a baby changed me immensely. I look at life totally different now and my children make me a better person each day. I have become more patient and tolerant, and I have become more responsible and organized. Before having my kids I took a lot for granted but now I really appreciate everything the way I always should have. Having children really makes you open your eyes and realize that there is more then just you in the world.

How to change my baby's name?
Well my son is only 3 months and i want to change his name. I didn't make a smart choice with the name i gave him at birth. I was wondering if i can just go to Vital Statistics or do i have to go through the court. I have been told that Every state has different laws for this. I live in the state of Florida. It's still early enough to change your son's name without too many repercussions. You'll have to explain to your friends and family about the change, but now is the time to do it.

1. Have a diaper ready and wi[es ready before doing anything.
2.Place the baby gently onto the changing table
3. If the baby has a one z on, un snap the bottom and pull it up to the belly button. If just a skirt or pant, take them off
4. Unstrap the two tabs on both sides of the diaper.
5. Take the diaper and throw it away.
6. Life up the baby's legs by his/her ankles and gently wipe the butt or the other area.
7. throw the wipe away and place a clean diaper under the baby's bottom.
8. pull the front of the diaper up so it is now on the baby's belly
9. pull the tabs on the side one by one and strap them/stick them onto the diaper, do this on both sides and make sure it is tight enough but not too tight.
10. put the baby's clothes back on or get them new pnes if necessary.

I've had this baby for about 2 months now, and I haven't did a water change since I've noticed it. Nitrates are getting a little too high. The question is, do I move the fish and baby in to a fresh tank while I clean that one?

In fact, even with fry, you should have continued to do weekly 25% water changes... Especially since there were fry, which are more sensitive to water quality than adults.

I hope so.. It's the only way to efficiently and correctly change your tank water.. It'll remove water, poo, and leftover food without disturbing the fish much...
If you do have one, you know what it is... You just have to be extra careful when using it to not suck up a fry. I have had fry and still changed my water weekly. If you start to see one go up the tube just put your thumb over the other end, and it should swim back out.Water change with baby platy?

What do you do for diaper changes?
What is your routine-do you use powder, etc?
Also, I don't think I'm going to get a changing table. Instead I think I will have a kit to move around the house- do you use alternatives to changing tables? Do you just dig in the diaper bag when you need to change baby's diaper? Or if you have a kit in a basket or something, how many do you have around the house?What do you do for diaper changes?
I don't use powder and cream every change. Just take off the nappy, wipe with a wet wipe, apply bum cream if a rash is coming on or something and back on with a clean nappy.
I had a change table with all my kids. I loved it!
It had a shelf underneath, a lot come with two shelves so its incredibly handy for storage.
You can keep his diapers, spare wipes and all the other paraphenalia there at arms reach. Plus I had his burb cloths and wraps, toys...all sorts of things.
I had a diaper depot to hang off the side of mine, I loved it! babies r us stocked it.

I prefer a proper changing area as lets face it, poo and wee isn't exactly sanitary so I prefer it be done in one spot and not spread over the house. I've seen people changing their baby or kitchen tables and kitchen benches and to me that is just disgusting!! Never mind spreading the smell over the house lol

Its much easier to control them on there. When they start to roll over and get a lot stronger mine would try and flip over and crawl or run away with poop hanging off their bum. Its much easier on a change table as they can't do that as you have better control when you're standing up over them rather than sitting on the floor or even leaning on the bed. (and who wants to risk getting poop on the carpet or sheets!) You have no idea how strong or fast they can be lol!
