How long do you take to change your baby's wet diaper?

Well, when my 10 1/2 month old poops her diaper, I change it right away.

However, sometimes when she pees her diaper, I take about maybe 30 minutes longer to change it. Do you think it's bad? Sometimes I change it right away, and sometimes I take longer.

Especially at nights, when it's about 3 am and she's wet, I feel so lazy to change it, so i wait until 7 am to change it. Do you think I'm a bad mother??? She doesn't have blisters or rashes or anything, and I put ointment on her... Be sincere, do you change the wet diaper right away?How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
next time you go pee dont wipe yourself for 30 mins after and see how you like it.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
seriously, you purposely wait 30 min? I can understand 30 min if you didn't know but come on that's your kids bottom we're talking about. She may not have rashes now, but she will.

I know diapers are expensive and it's tiring to keep doing it, but you really need to.

I am not sure how long mine have stayed in a wet diaper, I can tell by the feel and look of it when they need changing. I don't purposely let them sit in it though.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
A good mother would see a doctor rather than consulting the internet.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
at night I wait, doctor told me that if shes esleep leave her alone. As long as its not soil or she has a rash its okay. Awake I do it right away.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
You don't need to put ointment on her every time you change her. Only put ont he cream when she has a BM and see if she starts to rash. if she starts to rash change her pee diapers more.How long do you take to change your baby%26039;s wet diaper?
30 minutes for one pee isn't that bad. Diapers are made to hold more than one pee so it's fine. Poop is another thing all together.

I want to change my baby's name?

Hi, I'm a 19 year old mother of 4; Daisey (3) Ryder(2) hope (1) and Max. (sorry i put hunter instead of ryder) I like the name ryder, but i may like hunter better? I also maybe want to change Hope's name fo sure???? I regret that day. I maybe want to change her name to violet or rainbow. Daisey and max are great. Well how can i change their names??? (im sorry im new at this and have no one to help me really)

which names do u like better?

Hunter

or

Ryder?

Hope

or

Violet

or Rainbow

for some reason i want to rename hope rainbow. Im actually not sure about ryder. I don't know how to do it? Can someone tell me how or just tell me which names u like btter?: Thanx!

and answer my other questions too!I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
i like hunter better than ryder but he might get a bit confused. ask him. but please, please, please, don't change your daughter's name to rainbow, it's just stupid. and then think of a 40 year old woman named rainbow, please don't do it.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Ryder way better than Hunter. And I like Hope a lot better than Violet or Rainbow!!! Keep their names the way they are. They are old enough to know their names already.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Hunter.

I like Hope. I would just stick with those names. Violet and Rainbow are too.....colorish..XDI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Hunter better.

I like Hope or Violet...definately not Rainbow!I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
never mind name changes how about bcI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I think either Hunter or Ryder is great! And Hope and Violet are both good too...but not Rainbow... Don't name your daughter Rainbow :(I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Oh dear, leave poor Hope's name alone unless you're going to replace it with something decent! I would hate my mother forever if she'd called me Rainbow.

Hunter, definitely. Ryder will properly be mocked a lot in school...I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
hunter is a Great name so i would stick with that and hope is to beautiful to by pass so i would stick with that..you made the right decisions the first time for your kids name so dont change them now :-DI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
The names you have chosen are perfect :) The children were born with there names and they have learned them already. You shouldn't change your kids names but leave them they way they are, because the name of the person can make them who they are.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
well if i were you i would just leave ryder since he is already 2 he is already used to his name and it would be hard to change.

but as for Hope do not do rainbow but Violet is gorgeus and since she is only it would be okayI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Are you serious? I strongly advise you NOT to change your daughters name to RAINBOW ugh. What an ugly first name.Maybe just give it to her as a nickname. She can be your little %26quot;rainbow%26quot; like some kids are their parents %26quot;sunshine%26quot;. but do not legally change her name to rainbow,she'll hate u for it. Ryder is a great name ,leave it be.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I love the name Hunter, much better than Ryder. Hope is also much better than Violet or RainbowI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
WHY DO YOU HAVE 4 KIDS AT THE AGE OF 19?!

Sorry I had to get that out...

I personally like the name Ryder, changing his name now will only confuse him. The name Hope is way better then Rainbow, and better then Violet. What about Holly? It seems like u want her to have a nature name so what about... Angel, Autumn, Harmony, Honey, Kharma, Meadow, Melody, Passion, Serenity, or Skye?I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
i like ryder better. i'd either go with hope or violet. rainbow is too hippyish.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I think their names are pretty and they all go great together. I would not change them for the simple fact that I think it will cost you money in order for you to change them through the court system. Not only that you will probably have problems with their social security number. It is your choice and if you want to do it then go right ahead. I think that Violet is cute

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I really like the name Hunter, but since your son Ryder is 2, he probably already knows his name, so I would leave it since there really is nothing awful about his name. If you'd prefer, why don't you begin calling him Skip or Chip or Bud? As for baby Hope, her name is lovely. Violet, too is nice, But please do not call her Rainbow. Not a good name. To change the name of a baby, I believe you'd need to talk to a lawyer or ask the people at your Town or City Hall.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
once you have named your child you cant go ahead and change it. changing there name is up to them when they get older. you cant start calling her hope and then say %26quot; honey, your new name is Alexis, its not Hope anymore%26quot;
and Rainbow??????I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Ryder
and HopeI want to change my baby%26039;s name?
I like Hunter better than Ryder and Hope better than Rainbow, but it's a bit late to be changing their names. They already respond to what they are.I want to change my baby%26039;s name?
Hiya,
Don't worry about the legal stuff at this stage because Ryder and Hope are good names
My friend just had a baby and had her name registered as Ava Mai but changed her mind straight away so legally she's called Ava but my friend always calls her Suki (Suki-Mai)
Hunter is a cool nickname for your son which means you could gradually introduce it so as not to confuse him
As for your daughter, I think Hope is the best name but if you are determined to change it I would go with Rainbow, because while I think Violet is the better name, Rainbow is a better nickname if you see what I mean
Where do you change a baby's diaper on an airplane?
When I had to change my then 3 month old (who was as big as a 6 month old) on the airplane, I was baffled as to where he could be changed. The bathrooms are so tiny. I resorted to using the top of the toilet lid. His head was tilted down on one side of the toilet lid and his legs were hanging off the other end of the toilet lid but I managed to make it work. If he were any bigger then the toilet lid would have been too small. I changed my then 2 year old standing up but thankfully he only had a wet diaper. If he had a poopy diaper I would have been at a loss. He would have been too long to even lay on my lap.
How/Where do you change diapers on an airplane?Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
Use the handicapped lavs instead. They are much roomier and yes, I was able to change my toddlers standing up, the scary diapers and was even able to do it with my girls. My cousin who also live abroad and flies a lot taught me. She has twins plus a littler one so she had tons of tips.
Putting down the lid of the toilet never worked for me either.
Practice at home first and you may need to take off the bottom clothing. Sit on your feet and have him face away from you. When you practice at home, put a towel over you and one on the floor.
(Stop here anyone who doesn't have kids and are therefore more easily grossed out!)
From the front and the back, pinch in and try to catch as much inside the diaper as possible. Have a bag handy to quickly discard. Clean up with wipes from the outside as much as possible. Then tip the toddler backwards into your lap and have him stick his legs up. You can then do a big wipe up and promise, if you managed the %26quot;pinch%26quot; technique, you wont have that much left.
Yes, this will take a tad longer but having to stuff a big toddler on to one of the miniscule changing tables and plain old having to make a toddler lie down in a strange place take up time too. This almost eliminates the struggling. With their feet planted, they tend to be more cooperative.
There are always handicapped lavs on aircraft (required if it's a U.S. company). It's also good for airports and shopping malls where you can easily find larger stalls but not necessarily big enough changing tables.
If the floor of the lav is kind of gross, just cover it with those paper towels. Keep you knees clean.
For more information on flying with children, I wrote a totally non-commercial article about 8 years ago. I put it on a blog to share with other parents, who over the years have also contributed. I'm in the middle of re-editing it so you may want to check back if you're not flying in the next few days.
Feel free to visit; http://flyingwithchildren.blogspot.com
I thank you from the bottom of my childfree heart for NOT changing your children in your row of seats!
I think you did the right thing by changing your child how you did. Maybe next time though, get the flight attendants attention and tell them what you are about to do. Ask if they have a change mat to cushion your child's head and ask if it's okay to leave the door open in the toilet as there is insufficient room.
    I would have asked the flight attendants what they recommend or I would have just changed my baby/child right there on the seat and then quickly went and tossed the diaper so it didn't stink up the whole airplane. That's a really good question though.Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
    I use to always wonder the same thing when my kids were little. I once was told to change the baby before I got onto the airplane...idiot. You don't control when a baby goes to the bathroom.
    But anyway, there was always 3+ of us traveling, so I'd just ask my husband to move (as well as my kids if it was the younger one) and lay the baby across the two seats in the row.Where do you change a baby%26039;s diaper on an airplane?
    thats a good question, i think most of the planes in UK have baby changers in them as far as i know otherwise poor baby
    Ask to use one of the jump seats (a fold-down seat where the flight attendants sit for take off and landing). They are usually 2-seaters and long enough for the child to fit. Use the ones in the rear of the cabin for more privacy. Be prepared to wipe it down with a disinfectant wipe when you're done.
    Would it be crazy to change my baby's first name at 15 months?
    Help! I am sick about this. I named my baby girl Jenna and she is absolutely wonderful. But..her name never felt right to me, I never had the %26quot;right name%26quot; and just had to pick one after she went unnamed for 3 days!
    I have been sick since. It is a cute name, but doesn't feel good for her. I often cringe when I hear it on her. I am and have been trying to get over it but i cry every day. I spend so much time obsessing about it....
    Not that it matters, but I did not know of Jenna Jameson. Nor did I hear the associations-Jenna-talia, Jenna-cide, Hy-Jenna.
    I have considered changing it since she was 2 months old!
    The problem was that I still did not know the perfect name. I had %26quot;the right%26quot; name in my mind but it changed many times over the last year. I am full of indecision and anxiety. I keep second guessing. I can't live like this!
    At 40 I should be able to handle this. Maybe I need a good psychiatrist? lol.
    Here is a big problem. Would it be fair to her 3.5 year old brother Jacob? I have mentioned calling her different names and we play name games. I don't want to screw him up. Can it be explained so that he is ok with it and it fades over time?
    I do not like the nickname Jen. Or Jenny. Dont know what I was thinking.
    The name of choice has changed (in my mind) often too. Rachel, Alanna, and now I think the name Samantha would be perfect. Love the nn's. It is similar to mine ( I have a husband, stepdaughter and son with a J name as well. So eveyone is a J but me, my name begins with an S).
    Please advise!! Thank you so much. I just dont know what to do.
    If the answer is get over it, pls. give me on ideas how!!Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You shouldn't change her name. Not only will it confuse her brother, but it will confuse her too. Jenna is a nice name, I actually considered it for a name for my child (if he had been a girl). Leave it..you are going to drive yourself and probably everyone around you nuts.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I'm sorry if I come off rude but Yes. 15 months is late to be changing her name. Jenna is a lovely name. Who cares if there are bad nicknames or associations out there? Its a nice name. You like the name you just dont like there are bad associations with her name out there. Plus, its a huuuuge hassel to change her name.
    You WILL also confuse her 3.5 year old brother.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I wouldn't change it...she knows her name is Jenna.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    If you're truly unhappy with it then NOW is the time to change it, before she gets any older. She's just a baby now, she's not at school and doesn't have a bunch of friends yet, so it would be easy. If she was older, then it would be complicated, but at 15 months, fine.
    Good luck.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    i think if you feel this strongly NOW is the time to do it. i cant believe you had never heard of Jenna Jameson? i loved Jenna but yeah she sure puts you off it lol, i think Samantha is lovely and your son wont even remember you did change her name when he's older lol kids at this age don't retain that much, think of how much you can remember from 3years old? just change it and slowly correct him if he goes back to Jenna, make a game of it like you said. he wont get screwed up lol. you have to love your child's name and i think if you have been obsessing this long then just do it, she's still young enough, but any older might be cruel to her so do it now.
    good luck and make sure you LOVE this name before you do change it.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You sound obsessed about it. I am wondering if it is making you sick then maybe you need to see someone.
    Change the name by deed poll or nick name her something you do like. But i have a feeling nothing is going to be good enough...do you agree?Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    I wouldn't change her name, and I think you are a little too worried and obsessed about it, and it's too late now. She knows her name already.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    Do not change her name...at 15 months, it will confuse her as well as her brother. Lots of people choose names and then think better of it. That is normal in the beginning. At some point, you start to see someone as a person, not as their name. It is odd that this is such a big issue for you. I would seriously consider talking to someone, it doesn't seem that your daughter's name is the true issue here, but rather your focus on it a symptom of some issue you yourself are going through.
    EDIT: In looking at the questions you have asked, I'd say you definitely need to talk to someone. EVERY question you have asked is about your daughter's name. Her name doesn't seem to be the issue.Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    if u change the name, will u be satisfied? change the name NOW while they're still young, but the question is, ARE YOU REALLY WILLING TO GET THROUGH IT AFTER U CHANGE THE NAME? remember, the identity of your child is at risk here.. you said u are trying to find the perfect name.. how about trying to help her find her true identity as she gets older? don't u think she will appreciate it more in the long run?Would it be crazy to change my baby%26039;s first name at 15 months?
    You should not need to worry. I know tons of people who are named Jenna. It's a great name I don't see why you should change it, I think it would just confuse all of you and make it stressful for everyone if you did change the name. If you don' t like it call her by her middle name or something, tons of people do that. Trust me when most people think of the name Jenna they don't think of Jenna Jamison I know I don't
    How to change a baby who doesn't like to be changed?
    I have a 13 month old and it is almost impossible to change his diaper or his clothes. I have tried giving him a book or toy, singing to him, putting on a favorite TV program, and nothing works. He arches his back, and squirms to get away. When I try to turn him back over to get the diaper changed/clothes on, he starts crying. I have checked to make sure that I am not hurting him, and tried using a calm voice, but nothing works. I have been changing him on the floor (on a mat), and not on a changing table. Any advice?How to change a baby who doesn%26039;t like to be changed?
    my little one goes through the same thing. it complete sucks! I have found that if I change her on the couch it is much easier. I give her the remote to play with. Also, I don't know why this works, but putting destin on her makes her happy.     Sometimes he lies down okay for a diaper change and other times he doesn't want to. You just have to be firm and keep him in place (it's for his own good you need to change diapers). I usually talk to my child when changing him or give him a toy to amuse himself with (I find distraction is a good tool to use at this age).
    I also have gotten quite good at putting clothes on him as he's moving. Or for other items of clothing I will hold him still but I've started at one end of his room putting his diaper shirt on and ended up in the hallway putting his socks and pants on him.     I agree with the one who said take charge. My daughter is the same age as your son, and also tries to wriggle away. Like the other one says, they can't wriggle away if you hold the feet!     I'm probably going to get comments about this, but a smack ( just one to get his attention) on the buttocks while the diaper is off, and a firm %26quot;NO%26quot; and a stern look will work, it did for my daughter.     Give him something colorful to look at or hold. If you can, put up a mirror or a small mobile above the changing table. Or, if you have a book that has mirrors in it have him hold that.....you just have to be quick about it as this is the age where they just want to go, go, GO!
    Dear Tiny,
    Yes you can legally change your baby's name. Is the father's name on the birth certificate? Go to the clerk's office at the Superior Court House in which the county you reside in and pick up the Name Change forms fill them out. You will also have to place an ad in the newspaper for 4 consecutive weeks, stating your intentions of this name change and what the name change will be. After showing proof and receipt of placing a 4 week Ad in the newspaper return all forms back to the County Clerk's office at the Courthouse and you will be given a Court Date. On your court date the judge will ask you why you want the name change?. He will ask maybe 2 or 3 questions. You will receive the Document stamped by the court giving his approval. And Name Change Granted.
    That's about it!. You do not need an Attorney for this. It's quite simple. . The day you appear before the judge and he grants the name change order is the day your baby will have his new name. Go to S.S. office also to have his name on theSocial Security card name changed as well.
    The price is relatively fair, The cost of the court forms the court fees and the cost of running an Ad in the newpaper. It comes to about $200-$300. Depending where you live. The newspaper Ad will probably cost the most money, but well worth your peace of mind.
    I hope I have been helpful. I live in Calif. So if you live elsewhere the rules may be a little different. The County Court Clerk's office can also assist you if you have any questions
    Good Luck
    See a lawyer. It should not take long at all and not cost much if it is not being contested. I think you just have to fill out a piece of paper and possibly put a small ad in a local newspaper informing people of the name change.
    Technically, you don't even have to do that much. Legally you just have to use the new name consistently. However, he may then have problems later on when he applies for a driver's license or a passport.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    You have to petition the courts to change his name. If there is a father he needs to agree in writing. You will need an attorney to file the necessary paperwork.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    If you must, do it before he's old enough to recognize his name. You should be able to do this at a county courthouse. Otherwise, it's a state matter. Not sure how long it takes to get the papers - depends on how busy they are.How can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    u dont need a good reason to change his name, u have to go to county clerks office n file name change forms, i think there is a nominal fee. it has to be the city that he was born inHow can i change my baby%26039;s name?
    If there is a father registered on his birth certificate, you must have his permission as well to change the name of the child. If there is no father registered, or if he agrees, its just a case of filling in some forms (with a small fee) and changing the name by deed poll. Without the father's permission (if his name is on the birth certificate) it becomes a long and sometimes costly legal exercise.
    I know this because this occurred with one of of my family members.
    No! after baby you and baby will be his only family. He will always love his mom no matter what she does to you or him. You will be in much more control of your husband once you mother his baby. I have seen that in familiesIf your mum-in-law has been a jerk to you in the past and your husband is supportive,does he change after baby?
    No .. where did you get that idea from ?
    He should get closer to the woman who gave him a child , you.If your mum-in-law has been a jerk to you in the past and your husband is supportive,does he change after baby?
    sometimes it takes till the child is 5 or 6 and looking at what his dad does, but they change, yes.If your mum-in-law has been a jerk to you in the past and your husband is supportive,does he change after baby?
    I dislike my MIL even more since I had the baby because I realize parenting is not as hard as she used to try to guilt us into believing. You ll have a different outlook on life as a parent but don't expect to become bffs with your MIL because you are a parent.
    How do you change a baby boy's diaper?
    about to be a dad... need to know...
    Video... online??How do you change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
    Boy and girls diaper changes are very different. I have one of each. As soon as the cold air hits a baby boys %26quot;thing%26quot; it makes him pee so you unstick the sides, lift the top flap off the diaper and the put the flap back over his thing. That way the cold air will hit him, and he will pee on his diaper. Then get a wipe and wipe him all over where his pee has gone (in any direction, for girls you must do it from top to bottom) dispose of the diaper and put a fresh one on. And voila. A squeaky clean botty. How do you change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
    One thing I had to learn was to always be sure to point the penis down when you are finnishing up. If you end up with the diaper closed and the penis is pointing upwards towards his belly button and not down towards his leg, when he tee-tee's it will get his clothes wet. How do you change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
    Take the dirty one off, wipe the baby w/ a baby wipe well and put the new diaper on. If it's dirty (poo) rather then wet, use the dirty diaper to kind of swipe off the poo as you are pulling it off.
    It is a bit scary until you do it and then you will see how easy it is.
    You might go to WhatNotToExpect.com or Pampers.com or Huggies.com for some step by step tips and illustrations.How do you change a baby boy%26039;s diaper?
    VERY quickly unless you want to get peed on! I got a few shots in the face in the begining. Just be very gentle. You can practice with a doll or take a parenting class at your local hospital.
    How to put my baby in my Husband's last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    I am married we have a daughter who is not my Husband.How can I change my baby name to my Husband's?How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    Your husband does not have to adopt your daughter, nor does your ex have to give up his legal rights for you to change her name. You do need the permission of her biological father, or a judge to change her last name. You will have to go to court and petition for the change.
    Some info I got off the web:
    It is possible, however, to change a child檚 name without the process of adoption through petitioning the court for a name change by filing certain paperwork. How this works will vary from state to state, and while in the simplest cases you may be able to fill out the forms yourself, you will likely need to consult a lawyer or a legal aid society. You will also need to demonstrate that you have notified (or, if he is long gone, attempted to notify) the child檚 natural father of your desire to change the child檚 name. In some states, the natural father檚 consent is required; in others, it is not. The court will weigh whether or not the name change is in the child檚 best interests and will accept or deny the petition accordingly.
    Be aware that changing the last name of a minor child does not change the identity or obligations of the child檚 father. Changing a child檚 last name to match a stepfather檚 does not absolve the natural father from paying child support, nor will it obligate the stepfather to pay child support should his marriage to the mother end in divorce. By contrast, legal stepparent adoption does change the legal identity of the father; the stepfather becomes the legal father, and will be obligated to pay child support if the marriage dissolves. Be aware as well that if your child is an adolescent, the courts will likely require the child檚 written consent to any proposed name change.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    The baby's biological father needs to sign away parental rights first and then you need to take steps for your now husband to adopt her :)How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    Your husband would have to petition the court to adopt the child.
    Then you could legally change the child's name to your husband's surname.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    He has to legally adopt her to be able to do that and her real father would have to give up his parental rights.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    he will have to legally adopt the baby. Its simple and they will issue a new birth cert with his name on it.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    If the father of the child is against it, then you have to have his permission.
    That is like your husband is adopting the child, which warrants the biological father to consent to that procedure.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    You have to get permission from the birth father if he is still alive. He will have to give up all his parental rights, including visitation and he will not be required to pay child support. Then you have to petition the court. Get an adoption lawyer. It's not as easy as it sounds.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    ,he would have to legally adopt the child.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    you need your husband to adopt the child and that the birth father give up his rights of the childHow to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    You can't. In order to do this you have to contact the biological father and get him to give up his parental rights. Then your husband has to adopt your daughter. If your ex gives up his right you can't go after him for child support.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    you baby can legally change their own name at 18. But for now the only way is he has to adopt your baby or be given permission by the person that gave you baby their last name.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    well, you will need your baby's dad to sign over legal right. (if he is still alive) if he isnt.. just go to court. If you don't know who the real father is.. then.. i think you should just go to court..!How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    If you and your child's father have a custody agreement then it should stipulate how much legal custody each of you have (generally 50% each, regardless of physical custody). That means to have a legal name change you would both be required to sign change of name documents (assuming he's not relinquishing parental rights). You'll have to fill out a change of name form explaining why you want the name change (so criminals can't just change their names to avoid prosecution). If bio-dad disagrees and has 50% legal custody then it is a no-go. Or, as others have stated your new husband can legally adopt your child and the change of name will be part of that process. The other option is for her to use it as an AKA (also known as) without legally changing it.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    If the biological father's name is not listed on the child's birth certificate (or any other records), a simple name change will do it.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    he has to legally adopt her for her to have his last name and you would have to go to the court house to do thatHow to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    There are two options-your husband could adopt the baby,or wait until she is older and she can request a name change from the probate court.How to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    Is her father in the picture?
    Who he sing legal rights over to your husband?
    I think this is a question for a lawyerHow to put my baby in my Husband%26039;s last name legally?My Husband is the Stepfather?
    It depends on your location and the situation surrounding the biological other half.
    We have nothing to do with my sperm donor (I refuse to call him a father) and I am now married to the man of my dreams and all we had to do is request a name change through the government. I supplied all of the information and I had a legal name change certificate in my hand within 2 weeks. No adoption required.
    Good luck.
    I need to change my baby's name..!!Need advice?
    My baby boy is 5 months old and me and my husband are thinking about changing his name because so far there is no one who has pronounced his name right..we are so disgusted correcting people and do not want him to be stuck with a name who people can't pronounce for the rest of his life.
    Does anyone know the procedure how to get his name changed and what's involved in getting a 5 month old baby's name changed?
    Thank YouI need to change my baby%26039;s name..!!Need advice?
    What is the baby's name? I have a 2 daughters that no one can ever say their name the way I say them. Brianna (Bree on uh instead of Bree ann uh) and Madeline (Mad uh Lynn not Mad uh LINE). If you named your child his name for a reason, then I would say stick with it. People will get the idea soon.
    But I think you have to go a lawyer, pay fees, ect.I need to change my baby%26039;s name..!!Need advice?
    What's his name? What are you going to change it to?I need to change my baby%26039;s name..!!Need advice?
    It's like changing any one else's name. You go to your courthouse and petition for a name change.
    P.S. The link is for NY, but it's basically the same anywhere else -- it's a legal procedure.I need to change my baby%26039;s name..!!Need advice?
    Sorry, I don't know the procedure on how to change some ones name. But it is possible. This may involve at least one session with a judge. Consult a lawyer.
    Good luck!I need to change my baby%26039;s name..!!Need advice?
    Just goes to prove that you should give some REAL thought to naming a child. Cute/unique/trendy just doesn't always work.
    A name can be legally changed as long as it is not being done for illegal or immoral purposes. Contact your court clerk and ask the procedure. You shouldn't even need a lawyer.
    Like the old sayings:
    It's not that hard...we changed my husbands last name before our daughter was born....First you go to the vital statistics website, request the forms for change of name..fill them out...and in NS, Canada, you then must publish it in a special paper...wait for the printing, cut it out/copy it..THEN send in the 2nd part of the forms and the announcement in the paper...pay the $$...it was about $150 after everything....then it's done!!!....they send you the legal doc. and a new birth certificate...!..............good luck!... I'm so curious about what his name is....!?!
  • How Did Having Children Change Your Lifestyle.?
    Hubby and I are trying to conceive after 13years of marriage.
    We are both 36years old. We want to know...
    How will a baby change us?
    How has it changed you?
    Honesty pleaseHow Did Having Children Change Your Lifestyle.?
    I have always been responsible but having a child has dramatically shifted the way I balance my budget.
    Private school
    books
    uniforms
    FOOD!!!
    Clothes
    He comes first in my heart and my wallet.
    Edit: Now I can't have sex anywhere and anytime I feel like it.How Did Having Children Change Your Lifestyle.?
    BC(before child) I was able to afford things that I
    wanted. I could go anywhere I wanted and stay as
    long as I liked. I wasn't tied to home and hearth.
    Now I must put priorites(sp?) in my life, go without
    so my child doesn't have to. I no longer think of
    just my own welfare but of her's as well. I now have
    the opportunity to look at life through her eyes and
    feel young again. I wouldn't change a thing. Being
    a mother is fantastic.
    How full should your baby's diaper get?
    Some people like to change a diaper as soon as the baby wets it, and others let it get close to leaking. When do you change your baby's diaper?How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    about every hour or hour and a half. i hate to let her go any longer than that because they can get diaper rash that way.How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    Every couple of hours or if I can tell that she is wet. I HATE seeing a baby with a full diaper. How long does it take for them to fill it. It's just not right!How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    I change it every few hours or when he's gets upset from being wet. If it's dirty, I change it right away.How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    I never it close to leaking, I'm sure those kids have alot of diaper rashes, poor things. I change my daughters diaper every few hours or if she's had a bowel movement.How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    Don't leave it for too long, it can lead to irritation or a rash. And needless to say, no one likes the stench of a dirty diaper!How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    I check my babies diaper at every feeding and if it is slightly wet hardly at all I will leave it unless she is crying about it. Some babies dont like to feel wet at all. I dont ever let it get to the leaking point. As soon as it is noticeably wet I will change it. However as soon as it is soiled I immediately change it. Diapers are expensive. But diaper rashes are awful and the baby gets really cranky and its sad when they hurt and are in pain. So I say as soon as it is noticeably wet change it. That is my philosophy.How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    I absolutely change her as soon as I know she is wet. I check her every time she starts to get fussy. That's the first thing I check because often the reason she is fussy, is that she has wet or messed in her diaper. But I would never let a diaper get full. That could lead to many problems. They can get rashes, I am sure that some infection could set in if a baby were to sit in a pee diaper for too long. I mean it's one thing if you don't notice for a little bit that they are wet but to let it fill up, that's just wrong. Change it if you know it's wet, don't let it fill up. Its not worth saving money on diapers for a little to sit in pee!!!!
    How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    Every couple of hours or when you feel it is wet or dirty. If my daughter is even a little bit wet I change her right away. She has very sensitive skin so even doing this, she gets diaper rashes some times. The only time she gets a diaper very full is at night. When I change her come morning it is usually pretty full, but we don't have issues with leaking very often. Maybe twice. Blow outs are another thing entirely.
    Good luck! How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    I always changed as soon as they were wet or dirty. You don't want those germs just sitting there on your baby's skin. How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    Reminds me of a joke my friend told when we had our first baby - we were talking about full diapers and he said %26quot;I never let them get anywhere near full. 5 or 6 pounds at the max. The box says they can handle 8 to 10 pounds.%26quot; I always change the baby's diaper when I notice it's been wet. If they just wet it a little bit you frequently can't tell anyway until it's off. How full should your baby%26039;s diaper get?
    As soon as I can smell it, whether it be wet or messy.
    If my baby's dad won't sign the birth certificate before a dna test, Can I change the baby's last name later?
    The father and I are not married or together. He knows that there is a strong possibility the baby is his and i know it is his. But, he says he doesn't want to sign the birth certificate until after completing a paternity test. Is there anyway to change the baby's last name to his after getting the results back? If so, how hard would it be?If my baby%26039;s dad won%26039;t sign the birth certificate before a dna test, Can I change the baby%26039;s last name later?
    Yes..as long as you both give consent..they can change baby's name at any timeIf my baby%26039;s dad won%26039;t sign the birth certificate before a dna test, Can I change the baby%26039;s last name later?
    Yes, and the process is easy. Once he signs the affidavit of paternity, it is sent in to Vital Statistics and is changed. The process may be slightly different in your state, but it does not require a judge's order if you do it within your state's time allotment (usually 60 days is free).
    Honestly, though, I would keep your surname for the baby unless he marries you. Chances are, he will drift off before the kid is even in kindergarten and you will regret having put his last name on the birth certificate. So many women do.If my baby%26039;s dad won%26039;t sign the birth certificate before a dna test, Can I change the baby%26039;s last name later?
    If he wants his name on the birth certificate then he better step up to the plate - otherwise, you snooze, you lose!
    If it's you who wants his name on the birth certificate you will probably have to call a lawyer but I don't think it should be very difficult.If my baby%26039;s dad won%26039;t sign the birth certificate before a dna test, Can I change the baby%26039;s last name later?
    Yes you can, but im sure you would need a lawyer, or be really good at navigating the system. Honestly though, if he wont step up to the plate and be a father to his child then he doesnt deserve the honor of having a child bear his last name.
    Does anyone know how to change a baby I don't anything about babys Im kind of new at this?
    i would recommend having the diaper wipes baby powder or diaper rash cream handy.
    First place the baby on a flat comfortable surface like a bed or the change table or even on the clean floor with a changing pad under him or her.
    Place the clean unused diaper unfolded under the babies bum while they are still in the used one this is in case they pee or poo while your changing them you don't want it on the bed or any thing. (the Velcro or sticky tabs are in the back so you can stick them on in the front)
    you then open the diaper, clean up the mess with the baby wipes by holding the baby's legs.
    remove the dirty diaper to the side folded up.
    put the baby powder or diaper rash cream on next if you use it. then strap on the new diaper. put the babies clothes back on wash your hands and toss the old diaper. i would recommend warming the wipes up with your hands first it can be cold on the bums and never let you baby fall keep one hand on his or her tummy at all timesDoes anyone know how to change a baby I don%26039;t anything about babys Im kind of new at this?
    what is the thing your going to change again??Does anyone know how to change a baby I don%26039;t anything about babys Im kind of new at this?
    Open up the diaperlay the taped side down, place the baby gently down on that diaper making sure the diaper u laid him on is not too high on the belly ..u want it to be flush with the belly button... now take the other side of the diaper which will be , beteen the legs fold it up twords the belly button and twords the other diaperhold on to all sides of the diaper by using the idex fingers and thumbs for the front and the pinky's for the back. Tape the two sides.. left with the left ...right with the right... most now a days r valcro so it isnt tape but I'm sure you'll figure this out... You want the diaper to be snug especially if it is a boy other wise you will have him going threw his clothes.......
    You are babysitting and you have never changed a baby???Does anyone know how to change a baby I don%26039;t anything about babys Im kind of new at this?
    The first time i put on a nappy it fell off! That was 5 years ago cant you go to parenting classes? as they show you everything there good luck
    Will the courts require a DNA test to change my baby's last name or put me on the birth certificate?
    due to marital issues, my name was never put on the Birth Certificate and my baby daughter was given my wife's maiden name. how do I go about fixing both issues? There was a question to who the father was, but I got a non-legally binding DNA test and the results state the baby belongs to me. me and the wife are reconciling. I know if there is a question to the biological father, the courts will order a legally binding paternity test. I already have the test, its just not %26quot;legally-binding%26quot;. If the wife acknowledges with the courts, whether in person or in writing (i'm gonna do writing and notarized to be safe) that the child is mine, will the courts be fine with that, or will they still require a a legal DNA test? And do i need a lawyer to change my babies last name to mine, or can that be legally agreed upon in courts, or to whom ever it concerns?Will the courts require a DNA test to change my baby%26039;s last name or put me on the birth certificate?
    changing the name is one thing, the mothe should be able to do that fairly easily. but having your name added to the birth certificate is another. a dna test will be required.Will the courts require a DNA test to change my baby%26039;s last name or put me on the birth certificate?
    Figuring out if the baby is yours and changing the last name have nothing to do with each other. If your wife agrees to change the last name to yours all you have to do is go to court and change it. You guys could also change the last name to whatever you want. She chose to have the last name be her last name when she filed the name with the social security department.
    All the DNA test does is prove that you have rights to the child for visitation and it makes you liable for any child support if you guys split up again.
    If your wife won't agree to get the babies last name changed to your last name I wouldn't bother with a lawyer because you won't win without her agreeing.
  • How many times do you change your baby's clothes in a day?
    Well, my daughter's now 12 months old.
    Lately I have to change her clothes about 3 times a day, because she can't keep them clean. She's always getting dirty with food, and she's everywhere around the house and gets dirty clothes.
    Also, I live in an apartment and I don't have a washer. We have to go to a laundry place to clean so it's tough on us.
    Just wondering how many times do you change your baby's clothes in one day?How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    My daughter is about 13 months old, and I still end up changing her clothes more than once, usually.
    She's pretty active lately, walking now, so she always ends up in something... like getting extremely wet from the toilet (grr!). She's also extremely interested in feeding herself and never ever letting me help, so her food ends up everywhere...
    Plus, sometimes we would play outside and her clothes would get extremely wet from the snow, or just dirty...
    So probably at least an extra time during the day, other than just changing her out of her PJs and into them at night... at least one change of actual clothes, sometimes 2 or 3.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    Once or twice when he was that age. I had a hard time getting our son to use a bib, so we removed his clothing for meal times when we lived in an apartment and like you had to go out to get laundry done. That saved us lots. When we moved into our house with laundry facilities right here...I wasn't so worried, but we'll still remove his top for messy meals like spaghetti for instance. Now at 19 months, we change him in the morning and before bed.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    My daughter's 6 months old and I usually have to change her clothes once or twice a day thanks to leaky nappies, dribble and food getting spread all over her (bibs don't work...she always manages to get food on her clothes!)
    If it's warm enough I strip her down to her vest and pu a bib on before giving her her solid feed to try and save on the wash load! Not looking forward to when she starts walking about because I know my wash loads will triple! Lol.
    xHow many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    She wears anywhere from 1 to 3 outfits a day depending on how much she spits up on herself or if we go out. If we are going out I usually put her in a nice outfit then change her in the evening for bed. We live in an apartment too but luckly have a washer and dryer right in our own apartment as well as the building has some. She is 3 months old.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    A lot of the days, my son manages to stay in the same outfit until he baths and changes into pjs for bed. He is not too much of a messy eater and now that he is on table food, he is pretty good at getting the food in his mouth. There are days where he goes through another outfit. When he was younger he would go through two to three outfits, especially when he was on baby food. Bibs did nothing to help as he always managed to take them off.
    He is now twelve months old.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    I just put fresh clothes on here when she wakes up. She never gets her's dirty.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    Well mine is 6 months and I usually just change him every morning. and he stays clean all day. But I also try to keep him clean by having him on a bib, i change his bib 3 or 4 times per day because he gets them soak.
    At night I give him a bath or a wipe down and I put him on his bed time PJ's. he usually wears the same Pj's for a few days unless he gets them dirty, but since he only wears them to bed he doesnt
    Hope this helped! Tu hablas espanol?How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    I give him a bath in the morning and get him dressed and then change him into pj's at bedtime, but I never change his clothes because they are dirty, even when he was little I never had to. Except for occasionally when he poops up and out of his diaper he never gets his clothes dirty. He is exclusively breastfed *6 months on Friday* so that is probably why. He has never even worn a bib, not once.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s clothes in a day?
    My son is eleven months, i change him 3 times a day usually, once in the morning then after his lunch because he gets very messy!!, and again after his bath.
    I put simple clothes on my son because i know they will get dirty, then when we go otu its just a matter of jacket hat scarf ect.
    My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby's diaper no matter what.?
    My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby's diaper no matter what. So I'm left to always change it. The problem of course is that I'm not always home and even when I am, it's not feasible for me to be the only one changing diapers. I understand my situation is unique, since usually it's the other way around in this instance. I'm wondering if anyone else how this problem. I simply can't understand how a mother won't change her baby's diaper, but maybe others have experienced this and can help. I would eat my baby's do-do if that's what is required. What can I do? The situation is very frustrating.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    you really shouldnt eat baby ****. not good for ya.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    This should not be a negotiable issue! She needs to be able to do it on her own. Maybe if she practices doing it when it is just pee a few times, then she will be more efficient when it is poop as well. You could try helping her a few times, but let her know that she will have to do it on her own soon. She is making it worse for herself by %26quot;thinking%26quot; that she will gag. She's gotta get over it!
    Also, she is putting her baby at risk for a horrible diaper rash, which could be considered neglectful parenting, as well as baby being uncomfortable and in pain.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    Tell her to breathe through her mouth! It's very simple.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    Research shows mothers maybe genetically programmed to be more OK with their own LO do-do. These experiments were carried out, where a mother cannot tell which nappy is from her own baby. The results show they are more likely to gag over other peoples baby's nappies. I experienced this changing our babies cousin. For some reason when its not your own, it makes you gag, especially if its a strong smell. Obviously this doesn't apply to you, so I would be more likely to say its in the mind with your wife. Maybe the more anxiety built up over this task, the more she gags. I would only suggest making sure everything is on hand to try and do it as fast as possible, including a nappy bag and an open window to start off with. Maybe the more confidence built up, the better it will get. Sometimes people can gag at just the thought of something without smelling it. At least this proves it can be in the mind. I believe confidence would be the key.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    - she can take the baby outside for changes (fresh air is good air)
    - she can stand beside you when you change the baby, and gradually adjust to the idea
    - she can have a plastic bag in a bin beside the baby and vomit as needed while changing the diaper. If it's only gagging, then there is no problem. If she's full on vomiting, the vomiting into a bin should hinder her from doing it again.
    If she isn't willing to re-train herself, or face her fears, she may need to hire a nanny to come be with her and your child while you are at work.
    I have heard of many pregnant mothers who vomit while changing diapers because of morning sickness and heightened sense of smell - but i've never heard of a mother who wouldn't change the diaper despite feeling sick and/or vomiting during the procedure of changing it.My wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    She shouldn't of really had a baby in the first place as babies need changing a lot. And when your not always home and the baby needs changing, depending on how long baby is left, baby will become sore and the skin around the area will start to break down.
    She just needs to keep trying, maybe little bits at a time with you helping and i'm sure she would get used to it.
    edit: I do understand a bit though, I can change my own baby, I can even clean up grown men and women (student nurse) but I can't change someone else's baby even if it's just a wee lolMy wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    it is her baby too she needs to take responsibility for the diapers just like you do it is not fair what she is doing she is the childs mother she needs to step up and take responsibility for her child and i think it is wonderful that you have stepped up and taken responsibility well done not many fathers doMy wife has a strong gag reflex and refuses to change our baby%26039;s diaper no matter what.?
    I am the same way I would puke just getting a whiff of poo. do what i did buy a box of paper face masks smear the inside of each with vicks vapor rub poof no more smell at times when the order was too bad I would rub some in my nose and also wear the mask It works .if she refuses to change or take care of her baby no matter how sick it makes her I would change mommies doccument what you write here have her declared unfit Put you chilld in a good home. true love will overcome all problems
    Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    im prego with my second child. i already have a 5 year old son and i am expecting a little girl. my husband is my sons step father and is the baby girls real father. my mom is very very old fashion and she told me that its a good idea that i do the diaper changing and baby showering becuase she is a baby girl and that daddy shouldnt becuase she is a girl not a boy. my little boy is 5 years and my husband of 2.5 years, sons step dad, does just fine showing our son how to pee, and shower correctly , and also answers and questions my son has about his %26quot;boy parts%26quot;. in fact my son prefers my husband helps him rather then me for some reason. if i accidently walk by my son and he is naked he is all %26quot;mmmoooomm!%26quot; it s cute and funny. well what do you guys think. is it ok to let daddy change her diapers?Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    That's ridiculous. Why is inappropriate for a father to change his newborn daughter's diapers?! HE IS HER FATHER!!! Does your mother think that he'll get some wack-o ideas by looking at HIS OWN newborn baby girl? You changed your sons diapers I am sure... why is that any different? It's still talking about the opposite sex.
    I totally understand it being weird that a father teaches his daughter about female parts, or teacher her to pee, or how to wear a bra or a pad or something, but changing her diapers?! My husband helps me out with our daughter all the time (she's 3 months old) and the thought of %26quot;that might be weird%26quot; or %26quot;that might be inappropriate%26quot; has never crossed my mind.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    yeah?Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Yes and you need to grow up Your husband should be involved in his daughters life and tell your mother to mind her own businessIs it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    He is the DAD. Not a child molester. We live in the modern age, so the domestic roles are to be shared by both parents.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    yes. its that simple.... he is her daddy and belive me you will want the help every now and then ... if you tell him he cant he will think you think he is some kind of perv.... i really dont know where your head is at that you dont think he can do it.....
    maybe you shouldnt have kids.....\hmmmmm?
    and belive you me missy momma doesnt always know best!Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Of course it's okay.
    My husband used to change my baby girl diaper sometime when I'm busy or isn't home.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Yes, it's okay to let him changer her diapers. Why wouldn't that be okay? When it comes the time to potty train and learn how to shower, that should be your duty. But changing diapers is okay! My husband changes our daughter's diapers.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Heck yes it's okay!! There is nothing wrong with a Father helping out with the care of his child... doesn't matter what the sex of the baby is.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Absolutely! My brother has a baby girl and he changed her diapers and they both turned out just fine lol. the point is that he is her father and daddy is supposed to do the same thing mommy does. Is that an old wives tale or something?Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    ummmm..... yes hes not a molester and its his child its not like he'll be changing her and bathing her when shes 7 you both can do it. both of my parents did it for me and it doesnt matter. and it doesnt matter because its not sexual or preverted so its ok for your husband to change your newborn baby girls diaper.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Absolutely it is fine for daddy to help with diaper changes and baths. The same way it was okay for you to do those things with your son. My husband helped with both of our daughters and I wouldn't have had it any other way.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    yeah there is nothing wrong with itIs it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    ummm yeah.... i have 2 daughters and a son my hubby is my oldest daughters step dad but he raised her from a week old and the real father of my other 2 children, he has always changed diapers, bathed the kids, he even helped potty train the girls soooo.... honestly there is no need to not let him do fatherly stuff with his daughter. :)Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    I think it's fine. He's her dad. Of course he should be changing diapers. What if you weren't around, for some reason? Should he just let a baby sit in it's own filth for the sake of decency? There is nothing wrong about a father seeing his infant children naked, especially when he's washing or changing them.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Congratulations on your pregnancy! Of course this is a personal decision, and one that should be decided by you and your husband, not your mother (or all the other people who will tell you what you should do...) I have two girls and my husband changes their diapers, bathes them, etc. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I can understand some people being uncomfortable with opposite sex parents being naked, etc. when a child is older, but with a baby?Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Well, first of all your son is 5!! You need to see him naked in order to know that he is fine. There is nothing sexual on a kid.
    Yes, you husband has to change his daughters diapers. It is his daughter, and she is a baby, what do you think? Stop seeing everything in a sexual way!Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    It's perfectly fine to let him change her diapers. My boyfriend has been changing our daughters diapers since the day she was born. He changed her first diaper.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    it is ok to let him but you might want to be there when he changes the first couple to make sure he knows what he is doing and you might want to give him a little 411 just in case, but when she gets a little bit older you might want to start teaching her how to do all that stuff instead of him so she will look up to you not your husband like your son...Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Um, duh? There is nothing wrong with him changing her or even giving her baths. It's not a sexual thing. When she is older maybe she will prefer for you to bathe her like your son is with his father, but as an infant it really doesn't matter.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    definitelyIs it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Unless your husband is some sick perverted individual that would get sexual pleasure out of seeing his infant daughter naked then yeah...he should be doing diapers and baths. My husband does both...especially diapers. My father has chnaged my daughter and abthed her too. There is nothing sexual about seeing your daughter naked.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    of course?! i have never heard anything so strange in my life. its actually a very perverted question, because it implies that her father will get sexually aroused when he cheanges her diaper, which is totally sick. if you do have a husband like that, how about him having custody of your boy and you having custody of the new baby, then the guys and girls wont have to ever look at each other! which is what you want, right??? =/Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    Yes he is her parent too. This is different times the same rules don't apply. I was told the same thing by my little girl's dad and his mother that he shouldn't change her diapers or bathe her because she's a girl. I told them that they were wrong that he helped make her that he needs to be a parent too. Needless to say I'm not with him anymore and my new guy helps take care of my daughter. I mean if you really thought that he was going to touch her inappropriately you wouldn't have had a baby with him in the first place.Is it ok to let daddy change newborn baby girl diapers?
    OF COURSE!!!!! He should help!
    How many times do you change your baby's diaper daily?
    I asked this question because my brother's ex-girlfriend says she change her 3-month-old baby's diaper once a day just to %26quot;save money%26quot;. She buys the diapers where there's like 40 in a pack and I asked her why didn't buy in bulk and she says it's too expensive. I know I cahange my baby's diaper way more than once a day, but my nephew can develop a rash down there and will mess up his clothes if she doesn't change his diaper more often. Plus my brother is fighting for sole custody because of this and rather have our mom or myself babysit my nephew when he's at work, not his ex. Holla back!How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    WOW - only once a day is really SAD!! The poor baby has to sit in a wet and/or dirty diaper all day :( Awwww
    I think she should be changing the diaper at least 7 times a day. Once in the morning straight after waking up, between breakfast and lunch, after lunch before a nap, after nap, after dinner, and then again in the evening and right before bed. If the baby is dirty then change the baby when required!!! If the baby is wet the baby NEEDS to be changed!!How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    Thanks for giving me Best Answer - Changing the baby is soooo important! Wishing your brother luck getting sole custody!
    That is disgusting. When she is wet or poopy. I don't know how many times really. I don't limit it. A huge box of Huggies is $20 at Walmart. Sadly my niece's mom sounds like her, so I know what you are going through. If she would stop buying A %26amp; W and energy drinks she could buy diapers!How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    I change them whenever they are wet or poopy. First thing in the morning, before nap, after nap, after dinner, and before bed are the times I change him regardless other than that I just check them throughout the day. My son has very sensitive skin so if he is in a wet diaper longer than a few minutes after peeing, he develops a bad rash.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    Oh no that is terrible. I change my 18 month old about 7 or 8 times a day. As far as diapers being expensive, i buy a case of 100 at wal-mart for just over $14 It is parents choice brand (Genaric Wal-mart brand) They are soft and durable. I'd tell her to try that instead of changing the poor baby once a day. Not only can he/she get rashes, but infections! I wish you and your brother all the luck in the world, and I hope everything works out.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    i have a 1 month old and she uses about 12 diapers! if she wants to save money she should use cloth diapers.. how would she like it if someone left her sitting in poop all day! selfish..How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    Umm I get the big box of diapers and in a good week that may last for about a week and a half but they have lasted me as little as 5 days and i get 120 in the box. and thats now when my daughter is almost 2 yrs old so when she was 3 months old i was changing her about every two hours maybe 3 but sometimes 5 minutes after i got the clean one on her i would be changing her again. you are right your nephew is suffering because of this. and idk what brand of diapers she buys but with luvs you can get a lil pack with like 40 some diapers for like 10 bucks and then the big pack with 80 some for like 15 bucks and then the box with 120 (this is for size 3) for 20 bucks how is that too expensiveHow many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    man poor baby! your brother totally should get custody! what i dumb ***! but on my 3 kids a had a system of changing when they got up, after they ate, after nap, and before bed, and of course whenever they poop or when they needed it!How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    Oh my lord. That's disgusting. There's no way I would be able to leave my three month old in a diaper all day.
    First of all, he would yell at me.
    Second of all, he would get his poo all over everything.
    Third of all, I don't want to deal with a fussy baby with a rash.
    I dunno, I guess it's worth it to me to spend the money on diapers. Sounds like a great mom!
    To answer your question, I change my son's diaper (on average) about 6-7 times a day. More if he's pooping more, and sometimes he goes a few days without pooping. So it depends.
    Oh, and she's an idiot. Bulk is not more expensive if you divide the price down to the cost of each diaper.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    I have a four month old, and I change him 6 - 8 times a day at least. That is just cruel how would she like to sit in wet or poopy pants all day.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    when she was 3 months it was every 2 hours, or before I fed her, now she is 10 months prob every 2-4 hours, I use swaddlers and it gets squishy if she wets, then I change her. so Prob 4-6 times a dayHow many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    When my son was 3 months old I changed him at every feeding. A habit I got from him being in the NICU.
    Now he's 15 months old and I have to chase him to change even a poopy diaper!
    I go through a bag of size 3 diapers in about a week.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper daily?
    every time it is wet or poopy; whether it's a little or a lot, if it is dirty, it has to go...i check her every hour or two and feel for the gel when i pick her up, so i stay pretty much on top of the dirty diapers...she's nine mos now, so they aren't as often, but sometimes when she goes it is a lot at once....i can't imagine she is reallly doing that and her baby hasn't already come up on the radar at the doc's office bc of the condition of his bum....
    How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    I nurse my 3-week-old daughter every 3 hours right now - I don't time it, it's her schedule. I was wondering, how often do you feed a baby that's 2, 3, or 6 months old. And what about when they start eating solids? Just wondering what I have to look forward to.
    ThanksHow does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    My son nursed every 2 hours from 2-4 months. From 0-2 months he nursed NON-STOP! The boy was born at 8lb9oz and doubled his weight by his 3 month checkup!! haha... Then at 5 months he started nursing every 3 or 4 hours. I introduced solid food at 6 months. I pureed him fresh fruits and vegetables. He's 10 months and still nursing. Now he nurses usually every 4 hours.. so roughly 6 times in 24 hours. He eats 3 solid food meals a day with a snack or two on top of that and 6 breastfeedings! He's 90th percentile for height and 75th for weight.
    My son was the same way with the schedule.. I fed on demand but it always seems to be exactly 4 hours he wants it! (or 2 hours when he was younger.) They have good internal clocks! Oh.. and when he is teething he wants to nurse allllll the time! He's teething today.. working on tooth 7 %26amp; 8 I think.. i swear he's been nursing every 2 hours for like 20 minutes. Poor guy is just looking for comfort. Little gums hurt! He tried to eat a banana during breakfast and even chewing that had him in tears!!! I'm really glad the nursing helps him when he's like this but it's crazy how often he has been going today!! Anyways, hope this helps!
    EDIT: As far as how long each feeding is.. I remember in the beginning he took 20 minutes to nurse. Once he was about 4 months it was never over 5 minutes. They get fast!How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    6 months is the earliest you introduce solids or anything other then the breast. Some infants wait much longer.
    You continue nursing at their schedule as they grow, there may be times when they sleep longer then usual and you wake them up to nurse because of discomfort, but that's it. I nursed usually 10-12 times a day with my sons until weaning, which was about 9 months (he was weaned at 12 months) with my oldest, and 11 months with my youngest (weaned at 2 years). Well, I nursed my youngest at least 8 times a day, often 10 times, until I started actively weaning him at 22 months.How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    My almost 5 month old has been nursing every 3 hours (except at night he wakes up once) since the beginning he made his own scheldule at 2 months, i have not yet started him on solids as im waiting for his first tooth or til he is 6 months old!
    hope you have fun being a mum!How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    My midwife said I could start weaning at 6 months. To start with pureed fruit and veg. My daughter is almost 4 months old and she can feed in about 20 minutes. The first few weeks are the hardest. Hang in there.How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    Well I BF my daughter to 4 and my son is 2.5 and still nursing.
    It all changes a little at a time and you really dont notice it. I bet you have noticed that when she hits a growth spurt she will eat more well as they grow they eat less... My son never really ate solids till 12 months. Starting at 6 months he played with some mushed food but was not too into it.
    By the time they are 6 months to a year old they are nursing a lot less but maybe more frequently than you would expect. It is more like they nurse for 3-5 minutes, get down crawl/walk around get spooked or too far from you and come to nurse for comfort. Yes they will nurse for 10-15 minutes maybe 2-3 times a day but they begin to snack also.
    I cant explain it but slowly with each passing month the time you spend doing it does decrease.
    Good luck!How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    At 2,3, %26amp; 6 months your feedings will be longer apart, but they will take in more. Their stomachs just get bigger and can hold more milk that lasts them longer (just like adults, but not quite)
    When they start eating solids, you'll just replace the milk feeding with a solid food. You will still nurse about 2-3 times a day though. You can now start solids at 4-6 months, but its not to replace the milk feeding at that age. It's just to introduce solids. Think of it as a treat. When your baby is 6+ months you can start replacing a few milk feedings with solid food.How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
    Every baby is different, of course, so you can't really know what to expect. But your baby will probably nurse on that same schedule until she starts solids. With, of course, increased nursings at the major growth spurts of 6 weeks, 3 months, and 6 months (some babies have one at 4 months as well). During a growth spurt, baby can nurse as much as every hour for several days. Stick through it. She is upping your supply to meet her needs.
    In my case, my son (now 3 1/2 years old) nursed every 2-3 hours until he was 1. And then he went to about every 4-5 hours until he weaned at 15 months.
    My daughter is now 11 months. She nursed ever 2-3 hours until about 9 months and now will go sometimes 4 hours without nursing.
    Hope that helps!How does breastfeeding change as the baby gets older?
  • When is too late to change a baby name?
    we need our daughter hannah and I want to change it. My husband and I could not agree on a name so at the hospital he called his parents and my parents to get approval. His parents liked Hannah Goldie over Lilly Anna Goldie while parents hated both names. My husband kept pressuring me to come with a name so he could get over with and send out the email to announce the birth. Today is our 6th wedding anniversary and our third child is seven weeks and I am so depressed that we named our child to please my parents and in the end the were not happy about our choice Hannah. My mother has said many nasty things about the name Hannah. Its hard to get these mean comments out of my head. I am angry with my husband, but what can I do? Should I change her name. I was trying to name her after my grandmom Anne, but my mother thinks I did not because I named her Hannah which begins with a H and my husband grandmother was Goldie so we named her Hannah. What should we do? I learned my lesson that my husband will sell me short to get what he wants to done. I stood over me at the hospital and demanded we name this child so he send out a mass email with his big announcement of brand new baby. I like the baby name to be Anna but that;s my husband sister name so he said that would selling his sister short. What can I do now? My parents want to be Anna and do like the name Anna, but my husband won't budge on the name he likes Hannah and told his family was her name. Isn't awkward to change her now? How would we do this?When is too late to change a baby name?
    Honestly, at 7 weeks, people already know her as Hannah. It will kind of be a life long joke in the family if you change the name now. Your mom shouldn't be saying nasty things about what you named your child. It isn't any of her business. If you chose to name a child for someone on your husbands side of the family it should be celebrated not score kept. Just tell her to but out. After 9 months of pregnancy most people have the name narrowed down pretty well. It was a compromise that should have been reached before the baby was out or very shortly there after.When is too late to change a baby name?
    Didn't YOU put the name Hannah on the birth certificate? No, I don't think you should change the name now. I think you and your parents are being RIDICULOUS.
    Your daughter already has a name, and your husband likes it, unless he put the name on the birth certificate all by himself without you having any part in it at all, I suggest you just get used to it. %26quot;Learned my lesson that my husband will sell me short%26quot; - you sound like a 5 year old having a tantrum.
    If you cared SO much about what your daughter's name would be, why didn't you name her BEFORE she was born? You could have come up with your own name ideas, even if hubbie didn't approve and put that down then. The mom is the one who puts the name on birth certificate. What's done is done. Its just a name, and it isn't like you named her something that isn't a name, its a common decent name, so just get used to it. If you like, call her by a nickname, but NO, you shouldn't now change your daughter's name from something you signed it as and hubbie likes.
    Learn to take responsibility for your actions.
    And don't listen to your mom. She's a real jerk making fun of your child's name. That's a horrible thing to do.When is too late to change a baby name?
    It would be difficult to change your daughter's name at this stage, however, you will come to love the name Hannah.
    The problem is not the name, it is your mother's reaction to it. A grandma should NEVER criticize the choice of a grand-child's name.
    What you have to decide now is if you want to make your mother happy, or keep your husband happy.
    Good Luck.When is too late to change a baby name?
    Leave her name the way it is and demand your mother act like a grownup and stop sniping. What a horrible woman. I hope you don't become such a harridan.When is too late to change a baby name?
    You can learn how to legally change a minor's name and get the paperwork you need in order to do so at the website below.When is too late to change a baby name?
    Shame on your mom making you feel that way about your daughters name...Hannah is a beautiful name however I know how you feel. I don't think my daughters name (Nayeli) fits her. I talked to my BF about legally changing it but it's waaaay too much work. What you can do though that works just the same is socially change her name. You like the name Anne cause your your gma, call her Anne or Anna, they both work for the name Hannah.
    I'm sorry your feeling blue, just remember your daughter is perfect. A name doesn't make a person, a person does.When is too late to change a baby name?
    You can't do it without his cooperation. Contact the department of vital records(the same place you get the birth certificate). They'll be able to guide you through it. But, like I said, you need both signatures. If your husband won't agree, it's staying Hannah. Sorry.
    I would personally just call her Anna. He didn't care about your feelings, but you're supposed to take his sister's feelings into consideration? Sounds like your husband is being a real jerk about this.
    EDIT: I agree with the above poster--your mom is making this way more difficult than it has to be. If she has such a problem with what you named YOUR baby, too bad. It's not her choice, and to make you feel crappy is not okay. It doesn't sound like you have the best family in times of disagreement.
    Good Luck!!
    How many times do you change your baby's diaper a day?
    I am doing a cost comparison cloth vs disposables and would like the following info:
    How many times do you change your baby's diaper a day?
    How old is your baby?
    Has the number of changes per day varied as baby grows older?
    Do you use cloth or disposable diapers?
    At what age do you expect your baby to be potty trained.
    If using cloth - do you line dry diaper or exclusively use the dryer? How many diapers do you have? What is the minimum number you would recommend a new parent have on hand?
    If using disposables - do you use diaper cream? How long does it last? Do you use a diaper genie (or similar?)
    Thanks everyone for your time! I appreciate it!
    KimHow many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    Kim....my youngest has been gone for four years now...but I take care of friends and relatives little ones...and I am a personal care aide for elderly...so trust me when I say I know what to use on a baby's tushie!!! Good luck with your comparison.
    How many times do you change your baby's diaper a day?
    Whenever my baby was wet or dirty. After all, I would not sit around in wet underwear. Would you??
    How old is your baby? I have had three children. @ are all grown up and my baby was handicapped is no longer with us. She left this word on Dec 28, 2004 at nine and a half. She was mostly still in diapers. But we were working on toilet training.
    Has the number of changes per day varied as baby grows older?
    Yes, as the child gets older there are less diapers to change.
    Do you use cloth or disposable diapers? Disposable mostly...although I did use cloth for a while and decided it was more trouble than I wanted to deal with.
    At what age do you expect your baby to be potty trained.
    It depends on the child. Some earlier than others. But around 2 or 3 years old usually.
    If using cloth - do you line dry diaper or exclusively use the dryer? How many diapers do you have? What is the minimum number you would recommend a new parent have on hand?
    I never line dried my clothes unless my dryer was broken and NEVER line dried any of my babies clothes BECAUSE unless the wind was up...the clothes would dry rough and scratchy..even with fabric softener. And if the wind was up enough to dry the clothes without them being scratchy...then I kept thinking they were dirty....so....(I know...!)
    I did not use cloth with my youngest, but I recommend at least 2 dozen and three would be better. (I have 4 dozen) Because you can easily go through a dozen or more a day sometimes. And if they are sick...well...you do the math!!...If they are sick...run to the store for disposables!!!
    Also using cloth diapers...if the baby gets a yeast infection (common if they take an antibiotic)...it can stay in the cloth and keep the infection going. And if the cloth diaper gets wet -- so does everything else unless you use those plastic pants to cover the diaper and I just felt that they were hot and uncomfortable.
    And if you take into account the time, soap, eater and electricity that you use to clean the diapers...you may just as well buy the disposable ones. I think it is cheaper in the long run. But that is just my opinion.
    If using disposables - do you use diaper cream? How long does it last?
    I used several different things over the years. BUT the best thing is a cream that is meant for incontinent adults. It is soft and easy to spread on. Blends into the skin and protects it. Some of those diaper rash creams are so thick and then when it comes to cleaning the baby they are hard to remove. I used the incontinent cream with every changing and never had a rash...except when I tried a certain well known brand of diaper that she was allergic to. (Now I work with the elderly and there is a cream that comes in a pump bottle at Walmart. It is a protective cream. It is about $4.00 and it will last for about two months or more. There is a companion Perineal Cleanser that is great if the baby is very soiled and sore. It is about $3.00. You can spray it directly onto the baby's bottom and then wipe gently with a baby wipe. Then put on the protecting cream and diaper. Look for this stuff in the area where they have the adult diapers....usually on the top shelf. It is by Derma Health. With my baby I used something similar, but it was about $7.00 and I ordered it online some where...can't remember. But this Derma Health stuff is CHEAP and great!!! Much better than any of the baby creams on the market!!)
    Do you use a diaper genie (or similar?) I never had a Diaper Genie. I just used fragranced trash bags. Vanilla being my favorite. And now they have some really great ones!!! Use a small tightly covered trash can and take out the trash every day! That is the important thing.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    1. It varies between kids, I'm gonna say 5-6 at this point.
    2. My son is 2, daughter is 6 months
    3. Yes, more frequent changes in the beginning
    4. Disposables right now but used cloth for a bit when my son was little, trying to transition back.
    5. My two yr. old is still not potty trained. We are in the process of training, every kid is different.
    6. When I used cloth, I had no option to line dry so I just used the dryer. I used prefolds and covers. Had 6 covers and 30 prefolds.
    7. I don't use diaper cream unless one of my kids has a rash. I don't use a diaper genie, I use a diaper champ (it holds more and takes regular trash bags) or the regular trash.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    every time it is wet, about 8 times a day I would guess
    7 months
    not too much, just a few less
    disposable
    15-18 months, who really knows?
    I only use cream when there is a sign of rash. I use a Clean air diaper disposal by First Years...bigger and more cost efficient than a diaper genie.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    1. I guess 8 times a day, or more if he poops.
    2. Almost 4 months old
    3. Hmm, I'm not sure
    4. Disposable
    5. My oldest is three %26amp; he's potty trained
    6. I use diaper cream only when he's getting a rash or has one. which is seldom.How many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    i dont, but my parents do with my baby cousin :DHow many times do you change your baby%26039;s diaper a day?
    Here's the deal. My aunt is an economist and literally did all of equations for this because....she's insane. but - this is what she concluded: Cost comparison is equal. You will end up spending the same amount for a service to clean them as you would for the disposable ones...or if you don't do a service, the cost of your time and energy is immense.
    If you are concerned about the environment...the same amount of pollutants are put into the earth by disposable diapers as the the pollutants caused by the soap used to clean the cloth diapers. So again, there is no real difference.
    I suggest using disposable ones...you can get them for very little if you buy them in bulk at Sam's or Costco.
    I also suggest a diaper genie II. We never smell diapers, it's quick and easy to change out the liner and dispose of the diapers.
    All things being equal...go for ease.
